Hey all, For various reasons I am looking for an empty Atari TT, Atari MegaSTe, or MegaST case. I've tried Best, but they've been sold out for eons. I've tried looking for non-working systems, but haven't come across anything yet. Is there another place to find these things, or maybe someone can make them? Or maybe someone has a defunct system they want to get rid of? Thanks!

I have a new set of files that was preserved in Feb of 2019, just never got the time to look at them until now, I am uploading the full set to Mega and it will be there in about 2 hours. There is a good collection of 8 bit software already there, (as well as other systems)… over 200 GIGS if you include everything in the folder of Russ's Shared Atari Files. Note that there are two Atari 8 bit sections , one the old folder and the other the new folder. Just so you know how to find it.... just click on the picture of the Atari 800 to go to the Mega site. Hello, all. As part of my continued spring cleaning efforts I'm selling my Taiwanese video game collection for PC (DOS) and Mega Drive. Also included are two American games. Some pretty cool stuff here, most are rather difficult to find: PC: 熊貓大進擊 (aka Panda, Go!) <- Two versions: One complete (CD version), second is disks and manual only. 西楚霸王項羽 (aka Xiang Yu, The Overlord of Western Chu) <- Complete except for outer box. 西遊記 (aka Journey to the West) <- Two versions: Both complete (CD and disk; disk version not pictured because box looks exactly the same). 爆笑保齡球 (aka Hilarious Bowling) <- Complete. VR網球96 (aka VR Tennis '96) <- Complete. 排球原人 (aka Volleyball Hominid) <- Disks and manual only. 天才寶寶大進擊 (aka Little Geniuses, Go!) <- Disks and manual only. Metal & Lace: The Battle of the Robo Babes <- Complete. One Must Fall 2097 <- CD w/manual & all inserts. MD: 麻雀惡魔塔 (aka Devilish Mahjong Tower) <- Complete. 悟空外傳 (aka Legend of Wukong) <- Complete. 世界職棒爭霸戰 (aka World Pro Baseball '94) <- Complete. All disks/CDs in great shape. Recently all were tested. All CDs are fine. Floppy disks however, ~95% read OK w/no errors. However I cannot guarantee any of the data on the floppy disks due to age. Game cartridges likewise are recently tested. They work fine. I originally bought these games for research purposes, including making scans. Staples were removed from the manuals in order to get the highest quality scans. Sold "as-is." Please keep this in mind when considering a purchase. I prefer to sell the collection complete, for USD$350 -> USD$300 (includes shipping within USA). Please inquire about international shipping. Please get in touch by PRIVATE MESSAGE if interested. And don't litter the thread with "PM Sent!" messages. Nobody cares. Pardon the lackluster photos. Thanks for having a look.

Just putting feelers out to see if anyone is considering selling their Mega STe in the near future. I don't haggle, so please don't; ask me to make an offer. Pricing is the sellers job, so name your best price and I'll either accept it or not - without the endless and annoying back and forths to get there. Already have Atari monitors and and mice, so just looking for the base unit and a keyboard. Shipping will be to Canada, so you must be willing to ship across the border. To save duty and taxes (USMCA who?), preference will be given to Canadian sellers. To save 220 to 120 conversion, no European units please.

Howdy. Welcome to 2019, everybody. So to kick off the new year, I'm happy to announce that we @ Super Fighter Team have partnered with extreme Co., Ltd. and an independent development team to bring an English language version of Vixen 357 to market: on a new cartridge, with color cardstock box & instructions, much like we've done with our previous 5 games for the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. It's available for pre-order now. Check it out @ www.vixen357.com Game will ship later this year, we'll keep everyone informed via our mailinglist@superfighter.com account. Important updates will also be shared here, in this thread. As I may not be able to swing by the forum very often, please feel welcome to contact me directly with any questions: contact@superfighter.com Thanks for your attention. Have a nice day.

I just got an Atari Mega STe, but it lacks a keyboard. So.. I need one. Mega ST or Mega STe doesn't matter as long at it's in uk, us or norwegian layout. I'm not too found of QWERZ and in particular not AZERTY, so unless a spare keyboard with the right keycaps is available that's not interesting.

Hello! Is there any insight to making the stock keyboards more responsive and touch friendly? Ideas for retrofitting new springs and such?
-
Hi, does anyone know what the trace port is on the STacy? It is along the side of the cartridge port but closer to the keyboard.

Greeting fellow Atarians, I'm looking for an Atari Mega STe or a 1040STe. Best Regards, Kevin

Picked up a cheap Mega ST 2 today, which has made me very happy, but apart from the mono monitor being a bit wonky (which I'm not as worried about right now), I've noticed that the floppy drive is very noisy compared to my standard case STe. Are all Mega ST floppies noisy due to the redesigned case, or is it simply just a drive replacement job?

Hello! Here is the latest news from Super Fighter Team: CASCADE and MAGIC GIRL are coming to the Genesis / Mega Drive! Is your favorite 16-bit game system shaking in nervous anticipation? Ah, well that must be because we've got two great new games waiting to fill its slot! CASCADE is a dice-based puzzler set in space, where your skill will be judged by wacky aliens. MAGIC GIRL is a vertical shooter that puts you in the role of a young girl fighting to save her entire planet from certain doom. Both games are now available for pre-order for only $40 each, from their respective websites... www.playcascade.com www.magicgirlgame.com CASCADE was originally developed by Epyx, and initially slated for release only in Japan. This never before seen game will amuse you with its quirky aliens that welcome you with silly spoken lines such as, "Oh no, a human!" and "May the dice be with you." It also features a two player mode. MAGIC GIRL was developed by Gamtec in Taiwan. In addition to translating the game into English, we at Super Fighter Team have also fixed a few bugs that plagued the Chinese original.

Adding a Marpet Xtra +8 RAM Upgrade to Mega ST
delvis posted a topic in Atari ST/TT/Falcon Computers
I recently started upgrading my Mega ST4. With the RAM upgrade it is now a Mega ST 12. I bought the RAM upgrade from Best Electronics, this is in addition to the IDE /TOS 2.06 board from Alan H. I added the Eiffel 3 and ordered the EtherNEC card. Will let you know how the RAM upgrade works out. -
So, I got this SMS 2, but it's barely working. My TV can't pick up the signal, and I am way too stupid to try and repair that thing. So I am looking into getting a Power Base Converter for my Mega Drive model 1 - which is always hooked up to the TV anyway. That way, I can also keep the number of consoles crowding my TV rack in reasonable limits. Does anyone have a spare and wants to part with it for a reasonable price? German eBay sellers - or all European eBay sellers, in fact - seem to get really nasty once they have such a thing. Also, what is this thing here? Does it work just as well? http://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-53200-19255-0/1?ff3=4&pub=5574883395&toolid=10001&campid=5336500554&customid=&mpre=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.de%2Fitm%2FSEGA-Master-System-MEGA-DRIVE-Genesis-Power-Base-Converter-Adapter-NEU-NEW-%2F300916543780%3Fpt%3DDE_Kabel_Adapter%26hash%3Ditem4610061124

Hi there I posted this message on AtariAge too - thought I'd say just in case it looked familiar.. I have too many STs and have listed a Mega 4 on eBay as well as a 4gig STe. Mega 4 is eBay Auction -- Item Number: 300877059869 STe is eBay Auction -- Item Number: 300877079255 WOW RARE L@@K etc... LOL! They are pretty good machines. The Mega is a Mega 4 in a Mega 2 case. I swapped out the motherboard. Has a noisy fan, but otherwise working fine. The STe is likewise good, although there are some screws missing so I need to find replacements, not a problem really as they are standard self tappers. Both have the usual yellowing, not too bad, but hardly museum grade. I hope whoever buys them will be able to have fun using them. For my part, they've sat on a shelf as I have two other STs to play with, when I have time, and that's why I'm letting them go. There are some nice pictures on the listings. Cheers JonB
