Take a rare look at our favorite vintage Atari 2600 boxes and cover art with The Immortal John Hancock & Metal Jesus Rocks. GAMES SHOWN: Marauder Demon Attack Tanks but no Tanks Threshold Pitfall! (signed by David Crane) Mega Force Missile Command Radar Lock Vanguard Return of the Jedi: Death Star Battle Gyruss Space Invaders Tac/Scan Dark Chambers I realize on this particular forum, the boxes may not be unusual...but for most casual collectors...they rarely see some of these boxes. What did you guys think of the video?

A look at some of the more RARE and EXPENSIVE big box PC games. There are games in here you rarely see out in the wild anymore. Big shoutout to local Seattle collector Kevin Ng for letting me borrow a bunch of these for the video. Anybody here on AtariAge collect Big Box PC stuff (C64, Amiga, Atari St, MS-DOS)...and what are some of your more rare or valuable games?

Here are the features and quirks of the Commodore SX-64 - the worlds first color portable computer. And it just happens to be a GREAT gaming machine too! This is a brand new video I released in the style of Doug Demuro, who famously covers features and quirks of sports cars on YouTube. The SX-64 may not be a 70s Italian sports car, but it certainly has it's share of hilarious quirks!

Apple's infamous G4 Cube computer was beautiful but ultimately flawed. In this video I show its many quirks and why it quickly died at retail. These are definitely one of the more collectable Apple computers out there. I searched for almost 2 years to find one in good condition and complete in box with all the original speakers, power supply etc. Such a beautiful computer and I'm stoked to have it in my game room now! Any other fans of the Apple G4 Cube? What are your experiences upgrading it?

I hung out with Al Lowe (Leisure Suit Larry, Freddy Pharkas, King's Quest, Police Quest, etc) the other day and it turns out he may have some of the only original copies of game source code for a lot of the those classic games. Now that he's in his 70s, he's selling a lot of his collection on Ebay and gave me a preview of what's to come. A starting bid of $100 for the original Leisure Suit Larry source?>! Hell yes!! LOL https://www.ebay.com/usr/al_lowe

Connect your old Xbox to the HDMI port on your television without the use of any adapters or power supplies, just plug and play. Important to know that it doesn't upscale, but simply converts the component signal to HDMI. I test it with a bunch of games including some that run at 480P, 480i, 720P and 1080i. This is my review with gameplay footage.

Obviously few people in this forum may need a Atari Lynx Buying Guide video...but I wanted to share mine here to see what you guys thought. Big shoutout to Marco (McWill) here on AtariAge for doing an awesome job on the screen mod! As for video capture, I could have probably just captured the VGA out on the modded Lynx but decided on just using OpenEmu instead for speed and convenience. I also purposely left out that there are two versions of the d-pad on model 1. I felt going to far into the weeds for casual viewers may bore them.

About a year ago I got the UltraHDMI kit installed in a N64, which does some things few other mods like this do like capturing video as digital RGB, optionally adding processing like scanlines and crop/fill, producing up to 1080p HDMI output with digital audio. Plus it's anti-blurring process is something that needs to be seen to be believed! This my review of the kit and whether I think it's worth the high cost. As a side note, I love how you can output SD video through the normal AV port at the same time, which allowed me to capture both in real time and make this exact comparison possible!

The Nintendo GBA is mostly known for amazing 2D graphics, similar to the SNES...however a handful of brave developers attempted to bring 3D graphics to the handheld. How successful were they? Let's find out! Does anybody else here collect IndieBox? For those that don't know, they publish custom made boxed versions that are packed full of little goodies like color manuals, soundtracks, stickers, physical versions of the game, plushies, action figures and more. Every game is also 70% or higher on Metacritic and runs on Windows, OS X & Linux. Pretty impressive stuff! This is my list of their Top 10 releases. * This was not a paid sponsored video and the opinions are my own, if curious.

Some games are programmed by the Devil and are so tough, so evil...so rage inducing... that make us wanna break our controller! In this video, I mention how annoying those GTA RC Plane flying missions were!? Were they necessary or were the programmers just possessed by Satan? Also... the rubber band AI in the Need for Speed games are often rage inducing! And... since it's AtariAge, maybe special mention should be given to E.T.!? Ooooh! The original Driver (PS1). Remember that stupid parking garage "tutorial" level!? What were they thinking? What games made you wanna rage quit? Is the game still in your collection?
