  3. "I'd certainly nominate [The Dreadnaught Factor] for remake status. With some visual upgrades, it would make a great XBLA download." -IGN Review "A cheapo remake [of The Dreadnaught Factor] on XBOX Live Arcade would be a blast..." -flojomojo "Would also like to see a remake of an old Intellivision game called 'The Dreadnought Factor' (also on the atari 5200)" -Andifferous This needed doing. So I did it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=85j1Agw6Zgw The current version is just a prototype for the CREATE Jam contest. The prototype runs on generic Android hardware with an attached game controller. (e.g. Ouya dev hardware, an MK808 stick, or a Nexus 7 tablet) The game is ultimately going to be developed for the Ouya and GameStick game consoles. If anyone is interested in trying the prototype, let me know and I'll post the APK file. Note that I need your support to progress in the CREATE Jam contest. Please support me in the contest by liking the video below! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bpLWWQ85VuE Hope you like it, and I'd love to hear your thoughts!
  4. Originally posted here but thought this need it's own thread. I don't believe the ouya 'Prototype' board was ouya's or Boxer8's original hardware. https://youtu.be/U39L4mEyIRc?t=3s So, It's obviously a manufactured board (with added random wires, a speaker or mic and IC's). Ie, printed board with a SoC.. IC's etc Which suggest Boxer8/ouya had access/money to R&D and make it. But I can't believe a start up would have done both.. just for a 'Prototype' It looks like a tablet board to me. It mentions the prototype as software and not hardware: http://ouya.wiki/OUYA_Inc Also, why would a dev board include so many USB ports and other non esencial IO? I'm a software guy and don't know much about hardware, so I'm just asking, what was the Ouya 'Prototype' board ??

  6. I have a spare PS3 controller I like to use with Ouya and Retro Freak. I got a Pink PS3 controller specifically for this purpose (the two black ones I normally use with the PS3). One issue I noted with my Retro Freak tonight is I have my PS3 controller plugged in via USB, but after using the controller, it always wakes my PS3 when I disconnect it or turn off the Retro Freak. It's super annoying. My PS3 turned on four times tonight. It'sstupid and I do not want my PS3 to turn on when I'm not using it. Is there a way to permanently unsync my controller from the PS3 so that it will not turn on if I hit the HOME button? Thanks.
