  1. If you don't already know, there are good (not perfect) paint matches for the orange bezel and controllers. These are the ones found on the boards: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0027622OM/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&tag=atariage&linkCode=as2&camp=1789&creative=390957&creativeASIN=B0027622OM http://www.joann.com/medium-painter-/xprd79065.html#q=paint+marker&start=13 http://www.michaels.com/Sharpie-Oil-Based-Paint-Pen/gc1650,default,pd.html#BVRRWidgetID Now that's good if you are just going to fix the trim. What about the wood grain in the front? I just bought a light sixer (and a s-video mod board based on Longhorn's). It doesn't have scratches or nicks, but the wood grain paint in front is faded from years of use (you can see the black plastic). Was wondering if anyone had success repainting this area so it looks authentic? I would hate to have to make this a 6 switch vader. Thanks!

  4. I am not sure if anyone has posted a topic regarding to this. I'm not sure if any of you prefer your 2600 cart slot bevel with it's original look even if the paint has faded. If it has faded, and you want it to look original again. These paint markers make it look fresh and new again. You can get these at any arts and crafts store like Hobby Lobby or Michael's. The yellowish one is the one for the Heavy Sixer and orange for the Light Sixer and 4 switch woodys. Here are some shots. I have a couple extra 6 Light Sixers to do so and here are my consoles. My 4 switch woodgrainer didn't need it as the original paint is still great 33 years later. Anybody looking for a solution. Take the cart slot bevel off, put masking tape everywhere except where the paint Is, paint gently by lightly pushing marker down and painting around the bevel. Hope this helps.
