  1. Maybe someone can help me solve a few small problems I'm coming across. I'm following this schematic/description -- https://gamesx.com/controldata/psxcont/psxcont.htm#CIRCUIT I think I figured it out...mostly. He leaves a lot to be deciphered, lol. I'm drawing up a schematic in KiCAD right now, and I only have a few questions: 1. The DATA pin of the controller plug connects to SER OUT, correct? 2. Where does the COMMAND pin of the controller plug connect to? I must've re-read the entire page 15 times and still can't decipher where COMMAND goes. 3. Are the 74HC165 pins not associated with buttons (A1-A8, B1-B8, etc.) left with no connection? Or do they share a connection? COMMAND, maybe? Thanks in advance!
  2. For sale here is a Japanese PS1 7000 model with the PSIO mod/cartridge. Everything works as it should, the CD drive even still works. I'm asking $200 for it, shipped within the US only. No controllers or cables are included. Since this is a Japanese machine, it uses a non-polarized figure 8 power cord. I'm also open to trading for any of the Champ games 2600 homebrews or a Harmony Encore cart.
  3. Hey all, selling off this batch. They are all largely in great to near mint condition, but I detailed any seen flaws below: Valkyrie Profile (PS1) - Two stress cracks on back, no manual, light surface scratches on disc 1. ($115) Fatal Fury Special (SCD) - Light crack on front case ($190) Mystaria: The Realms of Lore (SAT) - Cracked spine/hinge, no foam insert. ($55) Keio Flying Squadron (SCD) - Light fold in top corner of spine card. Comes with pictured case protector. ($1400) Please PM if interested. Offers can be negotiated, but cash is preferable. I'm based in DC and prefer local buyers. In the case of Keio, I am only taking local buyers until further notice. I'll update as items are sold. Thanks and happy holidays!
  4. I'm looking for a PS1 that has a MOD chip. I know you can have them built in and the early model has a plug in the back to put one on. Let me know if you have one you'd like to part with. Thank you!
  5. It's both more and less useful than I wanted it to be. I'm both over and underwhelmed!
  6. This is brilliant. How did no one discover this until 2021?
