  1. Hi everyone, its finally happened, I'm at the point where I'm ready to start unloading my collection. I wanted to give you guys the good folks at AA first crack at anything you might be interested in. This list contains something like 350 games, so unfortunately I'm going to start if off as a list with no pictures. These games are in various states of conditions, but assume the vast majority of them are working, have been played by me personally, and are usually in PAL UK version where applicable. Some of the older stuff like the master system might be Japanese or US copies, but generally is not an issue. If I own it, I can play it on a European console, as that's my near exclusive limit (outside a neo geo AES - not being sold!). Some are boxed, some are not. Some have instructions, some do not. They are all unsealed, there is no Wata level quality here. I'm a gamer, and these games were played. Please PM for interest in items, I can send prices for those games with images of boxes, manuals and state of disk/cart. Use this topic for general queries. I might be able to do pictures of specific collections of things, but nothing is in an easy to view format right now other than this list. Some things I can do prices now, but the lists are far too big. I'll try and update with time if I can. Hopefully obvious, but my native country is England, United Kingdom, prices will be in GBP £££ but will happily convert to your local currency, and give you potential postage to your country - just let me know where you live! Big orders I will try to do free postage, but all orders will be tracked shipping. If you live in Manchester/Liverpool, Cheshire, Birmingham area, Gloucestershire or Wiltshire we can discuss potential dropping off/meet instead, but note I live in Cheshire. About 6 months ago I started this topic: This was me processing letting go of significant number of games. Soon after I put my house on the market, and bought my next one up. In the process this took a backseat - and initially I had boxed about 100 games I was "ready" in mind to sell. This has now increased to something like 350, including PC games (hence why I'm going to start with lists, then will do pictures as requested). A few other things have happened, the work on the house has cost us considerably more than we planned, and the profit from the first house has already emptied to 0. We also had our car break down on moving day, and this caused issues with our buyers which cost us more money. The car has now fully broken down and we have had to borrow money to buy a 'new' (and by new, I mean 15 year old!) car. This is a bit of a boo-hoo story I know, but it leads to me realising that I have boxes full of cash I just need to get rid of, and I might be able to pay off the debt at least. I would also like to make sure I can manufacture some more Odyssey 1 multicards which I was planning on doing this month, but due to car - needs potentially delaying. Anyway... onto the list. I think there will be another cull at some point, but this is "second wave" culling and includes games like Zelda that I thought I would never get rid of. I've decided to get rid of my entire collection of N64 games, but don't get excited most are unboxed and all are relatively common-uncommon. PC: I need to form a list of PC games but I have already divided some up into prices, these are mostly "big box" games, though a mix of CD and floppy disk. If anyone is interested I'll try and develop a list asap. DOUBLES: These are just doubles I have for sale, I won't be selling any other games for these systems (1st, 2nd and selected 3rd gen consoles) Magnavox Odyssey: Volleyball boxed and complete. I'll take £90 for it as someone on ebay is going for that much. Atari 2600: Would probably sell both these games for a £5 to get rid of it. Both loose. Pac Man (double) Pitfall (double, I don't think this works on all 2600 machines... rubbish label before you ask) Voltmace Database (This is a 1292 alternative system, there is an adapter to use it in more common formats like the acetronic system, but I'm not selling it!): Various games, many boxed with instructions £10 each, 2 loose with instructions, £5 each. Collections being sold off: These are 1st and 2nd wave removals from my collections, other than the N64 which I'm selling fully there may be other games on these systems I'm selling in the future. Stuff like Neo Geo, Atari, Amiga and Philips alongside 32x, Mega CD, 3DO and TG16 etc are currently intending to be kept. NES: Adventures of Bayou Billy, The Bubble Bobble Donkey Kong Double Dragon III - The Sacred Stones Dr. Mario Duck Hunt Excitebike Golf Iron Sword: Wizards and Warriors 2 Jack Nicklaus 18 holes Kickle Cubicle Lemmings Mission: Impossible Pac-Man Super Off Road (Ivan Ironman Stewarts) Super Mario Bros. - Duck Hunt Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles Zelda II - The Adventure of Link Sega Master System: Note some of these are US or Japanese carts, but work on PAL machines too. Most are boxed, but no instructions, so I'm cutting down the price on most of them. 3. tl;dr: Play games from 21st century systems and post your times! For the third season in a row, it is time for the Modern gameplay tracker. Here are the links to previous seasons of the tracker: 2018 | 2019 So what is this? The basic idea is to post what games you played during each week, and for how long. You don't have to time it down to the minute (though some of us do), and estimates are acceptable. Then, at the end of the week, the statskeeper (that's me) totals everything up and we find out which games and platforms are seeing the most action. Each week, we have top 10 lists for consoles/computers and for individual games. Guidelines: 1. Be sure to list the system, the name of the game, and the length of time you play. Please note if the game has any alternate titles by which it's better known. If you list multiple games, please group them by platform. If you play on a backwards-compatible system, e.g. Xbox 360 games on the Xbox One or PS2 games on PS3, the game should be listed under the older platform's name. This also means that games predating 2000 played on a modern system should be posted in the classic games tracker. e.g. PS1 games played on PS2, GB/GBC games played on GBA, Wonderswan played on Wonderswan Color, Windows 95/98 games on a newer PC and so forth. 2. Each week runs Monday through Sunday (at midnight), though exceptions may occur around New Year. Try to post your times no later than night to Tuesday in your local timezone. I will generally wait until Tuesday afternoon/evening Central European Time before compiling the stats. If you post after stats have been posted, your times will be counted for the next week. Feel free to indicate in your post which dates your times relate to. 3. Playing on actual hardware is preferred, although emulators are certainly allowed. In some cases (homebrews in development, rare arcade games) there's no alternative to using an emulator. 4. Our cutoff year is 2000. That is, eligible consoles and computers have to have been first released somewhere in the world after 2000. Basically any systems released around the PlayStation 2, XBox, GameCube, Game Boy Advance or after. Anything released before this time period (including the Sega Dreamcast) please post to the Classic Game Tracker The same goes for computers: we count Windows XP or newer, but not 98 or older; Mac OS X or newer, but not OS 9 or older; and so on. 5. Arcade games released on or after January 1, 2000 are permitted. 6. You don't just have to post a bare list of times -- comments, stories, gripes, and helpful hints are always encouraged! If you're struggling with a level, got a new high score, or have some thoughts about what's great or what stinks about a particular game...well, that's the kind of stuff that makes this fun to read. How to make the statskeeper's life easier: - If you post a big list of games, please consider alphabetizing them first (after grouping them by platform). - Posting your times in minutes, rather than hours + minutes, makes things a little simpler. - Even if you don't know the exact time, it's better to post a specific number and say it's an estimate. If you say you posted a bunch of games for "between 20 minutes and an hour", I'll just average everything out to 40 minutes, but it's much better to have a sense of which games you played more and which ones you played less. - If there's room for confusion or ambiguity, please address that in advance so I don't have to research it myself. Non-US releases, homebrews in progress, alternate titles, and expanded re-releases can get especially tricky. That about covers it. If you haven't participated before, or if you did and got busy with other things, consider taking part in 2020! You may find that it has some interesting side effects -- I've found that keeping a log dramatically changes how I think about my own gaming, and mostly for the better.
  4. EDIT: LOWER PRICES Hi! I need to cull my collection some! Most items are in very good shape. I’ve tried to describe any major blemishes, but please check the photos too. Minimum order of $5. I will generally wait until Tuesday evening Central European Time before compiling the stats. If you haven't participated before, or if you did and got busy with other things, consider taking part in 2019! You may find that it has some interesting side effects -- I've found that keeping a log dramatically changes how I think about my own gaming, and mostly for the better.

  9. I'd like to pick up some PlayStation games that I missed, but I'm slightly confused as to all the intricacies of backwards compatibility between the generations. I know PS1 games will play on a PS2, so I don't need a PS1. PS2 games will play on certain PS3s - but those command a hefty price premium? PS4s will play PS1 games (from disk? do you have to repurchase them?) - will they play PS2 or PS3 titles? So at a minimum, I need a backwards compatibile PS3 and a PS4 to access the full library, but it may be more cost effective to get a PS2 and a non-compat PS3? Is my knowledge out of date? I have a Trinitron in the basement so I can hook up a PS2 there if need be, but I'd like the keep the number of systems to a minimum.
  10. By "best" I don't mean most powerful (the current one would always win), nor do I mean the most technically advanced in its day (that would have to be the PS3). I'm talking about legacy, and sheer awesomeness. Consoles only please.
  11. I've gone from 728 to 748 subscribers since my last post so thank you to all who have supported me!

  15. Don't want to sell it but also don't want it to collect dust and needs to go to a good home. Just don't have the time for it now or anytime in the near future. The PSVR was bought brand new from Target for $299 during their cartwheel special and I picked up the PS4 500GB with controller and Camera for $260 from Disc Replay so I'm about $600 in with taxes. Unfortunately I've probably only spent about 10 hours total using the entire thing and that was almost 3 months ago. Comes with everything you need except the move controllers and while not required, those can be picked up just about anywhere. PS4 500GB (original) PS4 Controller (original) PS4 Camera (newer version) PSVR (basically new) + the Demo disc And all connectors/power required $400 plus shipping within the U.S. (expecting to be roughly around $45-$60 to be packed and shipped properly) Please PM or reply here if interested, can send pics later. Would make for a nice post holiday gift for you and/or your kids. Thanks
  16. I waited so long to get this one that I just have to share now that it arrived.
  17. Today is release day (10 am PST, or 12 pm CST for us here in Texas) for the new Bubsy game.. The Woolies Strike Back. Of course for myself, SpongeFox, Robert R, Gold Leader, Jinroh, and other Bubsy fans over the years, this day is also... HALLOWEEN!!! Hahah... Latest fan art from SpongeFox who has contributed Bubsy art over the years, and who doodled art while we talked to Michael Berlyn and Faran Thomason a while back. So this is it folks, the release day for the new Bubsy game and already even before I can get my Bubsy copy out of Game Stop prison.. er. official release time, there are those that found copies and already made reviews even showing all the bosses in the game... What I am hearing is the game is fun, and as Robert R commented, there are many new moves that look inspired by the ScratchPad Bubsy such as breaking through walls and climbing moves. I can definiately see that, and am looking forward to this game when I get off work today. In the meantime, "Bubsy" is answering questions as previously advertised. It was a bit hard to track at first as I was looking in the Bubsy and Bubsy24x1 twitter feeds, Even checked the steam chatroom. However, then I got an answer to my question... I eventually realized that you have to check Bubsy's replies at the following link... https://twitter.com/BubsyThe_Bobcat/with_replies Some of the responses are hilarious so check it out! And with about six hours till release time you could probably still send off a question to #bubsy24x1 and maybe get an answer! More Bubsy news coming soon! ---- SPEACIAL NEWS FLASH... BUBSY WEARS PANTS!!! ------- (And a special 34% offer for the PC release plus free OST, but seriously, for the first time in 25 years Bubsy wears PANTS!!) Dream come true for some fans... film at 11...
  18. It has a locket music box that plays the Undertale theme!!!!
  19. https://www.fangamer.com/products/undertale-ps4-vita I'm unsure of how many people here played Undertale, but this is a pretty big announcement if you ask me. I greatly enjoyed the game for the music and characters. Very nice game overall, and I'd say best played if done so unspoiled. I'm not surprised by a physical release for PC, but I'm pretty interested in how they handle some of the elements for the PS4/Vita... Considering some of the things that happen in-game. Any other fans of the game on the site?
