I posted a scan of a photocopy of the SDS Programmers Guide in the Development Resources sticky, but it was suggested I start a new thread, so here it is. I have some other stuff, SDSMAC source listings, additional documentation, etc. to put here, too. Coming soon. Anyone else have anything relevant, please post away. The SDS consists of a GPL assembler, linker, simulator, and debugger running under DX10 on a TI 990 mini, typically a /10. TI BASIC programs can be converted to GROM format to run on the simulator. Scenario: You play as Patriotic Field Agent Steve Rogers assisted by a Battalion of other Field Agents that either stab you in the knee, or are completely useless and don't shoot anyone. Naughty Blue Policemen who bribe the junior field Agents and Green Armymen with Head Injuries round out the ensemble in this F***** up Military Trainer from the Far Side! Weapons: You're all armed in this scenario with unconventional unpredictable weapons that nobody wants to use and you'd give your right eye to get your hands on a real Gun from the 80's! Anti-graft Gameplay/Goal: It's always Cloak & Dagger so nobody really knows, but it's imperative the Young Impressionable Field Agents are taught to fight GRAFT. Luca Antignano (aka MADrigal) is a truly multi-skilled man, characterized by an extremely active presence and action in the international retro scene. Being a great fan and collector myself, of the good old handheld and tabletop games, I was familiar with his quality simulators from the very early releases. They are not lacking in the slightest to the real games on which they are based. Most of them have already upgraded to his most recent “quality standard”, that he refers to as “Standard 4”. I have finished a new game I've been working on. Its based on the text based game Big Rig. I have tried to keep the feel of the original game while improving the interface and visual aspects. Ive wanted to do an Oregon Trail style game since I was a kid. I could never really think of a good topic to do and didn't want to do a clone. I felt this would be a fun project. So basically this game is a 1990ish sorta edutainment simulation style game where you drive from Los Angeles to New York.
