I probably missed the best time to check this myself, during the holiday season. But does Sony still include PS3 games in the PlayStation store in the typical big Labor Day, Christmas, etc. sales? I think I want to shoot for owning all the Ratchet and Clank games on PS3. This will most likely be physical. That being said, I’m not adverse to picking any up digital if they were to go on heavy discount. I know that originally Sony was going to completely shut down the PS3’s storefront last year, so I wasn’t sure if they have simply forgone any sales on it these days.

I've got a Dualshock 2 that belonged to my mom way back in the day in my possession. Unfortunately, upon plugging it into my console I realized that the buttons were unresponsive and simply do not work with the exception of Start and Select. The board inside is definitely still working in one form or another, as the analog LED is on when I plug the controller in. But none of the face, trigger, or bumper buttons appear to be working and neither do the analog sticks or D-Pad. I'll post a picture of the insides and the board itself when I get home, but from my recollection everything looks absolutely flawless. I compared the board to a confirmed working controller and wasn't able to discern any physical wear that could indicate circuit failure. I was hoping someone could share some ideas on what I could do to fix it, thanks! Here's an online photo I found of the controller revision I have. -
First time posting on this forum. Not sure where would be the 100% correct place for this question so apologizes for any mistakes. My question is what is the average price for the Sony BVM-A32E1WM (this link is not the seller I am inquiring about, just a picture of the CRT) with a BVR-15, but no 86X card for analogue input. I am not sure about the usage hours as I have not contacted the seller yet, so for the purpose of a generic estimate, average usage hours is fine. One other question is that I located a site by the name of castlemania.com or something like that name that has developed a card that can be used instead of the original 86x, if anyone has any experience or hearsay knowledge about it's reliability, that would be very useful information. I wasn't planning on buying such a high end CRT for playing old school games on the systems I have; however, it seems like it's a good deal and comes with a guarantee from the company. My collection. 30+ years in the making. Yes, these are dust proof, moisture proof tubs. Most systems are not new, but I like to keep them dust free. 82 systems counting the vintage original systems and the modern minis / classics. Not including the 20+ Plug and Play systems. You could get technical and say an Atari 1040 STE and a Mega STE are essentially the same thing, but for the system count's sake, I did not group them. I have not focused on handheld systems, but they have crept into the collection through awesome finds and trades. And, yes, my chair is lame. My father made the large toybox for my children when the first one was born, and I had it re-upolstered with Arcade Logo fabric when they got too old for a toybox. It houses all kinds of extra cables and connectivity items required to get various systems working with various monitors or TVs. For the monitors / TVs, I have a PS3 3D TV, a Dell MutiSync Monitor (for the Atari STs and Amiga), an Atari ST monochrome and an Atari ST color monitor, a 4K TV, a 215 pound Sony Trinitron WEGA TV and finally a Sharp curved CRT good for the light guns. I have a broken Emerson Arcadia 2001 and Microvision, so they are counted in the total. Next items that I'm still working to get: Playstation 5 Xbox Series X Philips CDi Emerson Arcadia 2001Gameboy Color Amstrad 6128 Sinclair ZX Spectrum I started my collection with unique vintage controllers and then modded controllers for various systems, then adapters or adapted controllers that allow just about any system to use any controller, then finally modded systems. Not all systems are modded, but the vast majority of them have something that has modernized them in a user and game-library friendly way. Most Unique is probably the Amiga 1200 in a PC case with modern cooling, USB ports, CD32 capabilty, and Flash Drives. Favorites: The 800XL was my first computer and bought earning $3.10 an hour in a Target warehouse, so I am attached to it. I still love the Super Nintendo's hand drawn sprite games. I stumbled on to the PSP just recently, and am absolutely loving it. I'd like to start this thread in order to learn more about the must-play games, hacking capabilities, and everything people love about Sony's first hand held system. At the time it came out, I wan't really playing handhelds, and my most recent system was a GBA, not to be replaced until the 3DS came out. In retrospect, the PSP did quite well against the juggernaut DS, and the library is deeper than many realize. I'm running into an odd problem that I hope someone else has seen before - I have a Sony HB-F1XDmk2 MSX2 that I'm trying to connect via RGB cable to an Extron DSC301 HD (via the 15pin D-sub input). I've done a bit of searching and believe I have the pinouts correct on both the MSX* and Extron ends. I've tested and re-tested continuity through the lines. All that said, I just can't seem to get a full picture going - I'm getting two of the three RGB colors and only the text mode (I think); the MSX boot logo screen doesn't appear, game screens don't appear. The picture is nice and crisp, there's no rolling/scrolling that I've seen mentioned from other forum posts. Also, the unit's A/V outputs work normally. The odd thing on the 2 out of 3 colors - I can swap the color lines and I'll get the blend of whatever 2 colors I hook up on the first two lines for the text, so it seems the R,G, and B are outputting from the MSX but for some reason the extron is not using/seeing/processing all three colors. I've used this d-sub input on the extron with my Apple IIgs and color/sync works. *For the 8pin DIN, I'm using the Type A pin out so 6,7,8 pins are RGB and 4,5 are the two sync lines. I also have pin 1 ground hooked up. I'm stumped - is it that I need to use a different combo of pin 3, 4, or 5 for Horizontal/Vertical Sync or is the Extron just not compatible with the MSX output? I know on paper the extron doesn't support 15kHz, but it does and works beautifully with my Apple IIgs. Most of the posts I find on this are talking about SCART connectors/wiring but I really want to make the 8 pin din to 15 pin D-Sub work if possible. Any help appreciated!

Sony Handycam Vision (Ccd-trv98 NTSC) I have this camcorder for sale. I'm asking $60 shipped. It seems to work good. It records good. The viewfinder works good. It does have a tad of dust in between the lense and the tiny screen for the viewfinder. It takes a very small flathead screwdriver to remove the screw holding eyepiece to get to the screen. I've tried to clean it and it's cleaner than before but not perfect. It comes with the battery, charger, remote, strap and a Hi8 video cassette. Good afternoon all, I have just picked up an old Phat PS2 PAL model. I am getting disc read errors on PS2 games, PS1 games and audio discs. I did briefly manage to get a PS2 game to load, but it eventually locked up on the title screen when left alone. I know the discs are all fine because I play them on another console that I have. I was just wondering what could be the cause of this and if its not too expensive I may attempt to repair/replace myself. Many thanks for your help!

Another recent addition to my collection (Mar 29, 2018) An original "Long Box" version of "Twisted Metal" for the Sony Playstation. All the original booklets and papers are there, and in excellent condition. Disk in good shape. I had never seen a ps1 game like this before I found this one. I did not know ps1 games came like this!
