  1. Hi guys. I am a new member here, but I wanted to give the AtariAge members first dibs on this Kiosk before I list it on eBay. I have looked through the forums, and it appears the last Kiosk sold in 2014, but I don't see what price it sold for, and one in 2013 for I am assuming $750. I don't think one has popped up since then. This kiosk does not have the built in brain board. I purchased this from an older couple who got it from a K-Mart in 1986. It has been sitting in their basement ever since, and does show some signs of wear, but nothing major. Most damage as you will see in the photos is along the front control panel laminate. There is some moisture damage on the underside at the base in the rear, but you can't even see it when up against a wall. Also, it appears to be missing two of the bottom shelves, but a piece of MDF would suffice in replacement, it is pretty basic. T-molding all looks pretty decent, plexi has some scuffs but not too bad. Around the control panel there is some staining from what looks like Pepsi or something, but not too bad. I tried to clean it the best I could but with a little extra work I'm sure it could be restored further. The controls work great. In fact, it makes playing 2600 enjoyable lol. The paddles might need a shot of electronics cleaner, but they both still function fairly well. It is currently stationed in my garage, up on pallets. The featured photo shows it all decked out with merchandise (and photoshopped into a nicer looking room rather than a garage, lol) - sorry, games not included. Please click the imgur album link to see more photos. Included is the kiosk itself, the gnarly Sony Trinitron, and the 2600 console. I am in the Springfield/Dayton area in Ohio, and I assume most of you would prefer to pickup so you could see it in person first - but if I can get close to my price I might consider doing a delivery, make a weekend out of it. It would be delivered disassembled of course (assembly is like 12 screws). Here is my eBay user account if you'd like to check my feedback/whatever; http://www.ebay.com/usr/poisongoomba Link to imgur album with more photos: http://imgur.com/a/auJBu Please feel free to ask me any questions about it. I don't have a lot of room to store it, and I would love it to go to a good home where it can be preserved. Thanks! EDIT: I currently have a standing offer for $1500, the buyer wants to meet me in September. So I will put a hold on until then.
  2. It seems like kind of a dumb question, but I'm looking for a good way to store and display my atari games. I'd probably play them more if I didn't have to dig through boxes to find them. Plus my kids are starting to play atari with me, which is great, and I think they'd be more apt to putting stuff away and taking care of the games better if I weren't just throwing them in a box. I'd love something older, like a case for atari games or something but everything I've seen only holds around ten. Do you guys have any good suggestions? Thanks!
  3. This is going to be my permanent thread dedicated to my youtube channel that shows my pickups and game related content. A few people have suggested I condense all my videos to one thread and i think thats a great idea. Causes less clutter in the finders keepers thread and it will keep it more organized on my end. Each time I upload a new video i will list it at the top of this post and ill list the past videos in order below. Each video contains A LOT more games than what the quick descriptions say. I put a lot of time into the videos and want to say THANK YOU for all the people that support my channel! I also do contests so make sure you subscribe! Most recent video added 6-13-12 Episode 36: Episode 1: (first episode, bare with me. lol)Episode 2: (Boxed snes and mario rpg)Episode 3 : (Nes carts and pricey n64 games)Episode 4: (Nes games and mario watch)Episode 5: (Boxed snes KI edition snes)
  4. I just got an Xbox 360 and am having a blast with it. Great system. That being said i'm aware the PS3 store is shutting down soon and want to make sure to download everything I can while its still up. I have hopes it may be up for a while as it's very fast and current looking compared to the PS3 store. Also--a lot of 360's were sold and are still in use, and the Xbone adoption rate has been slow, all improving its chances of staying up longer. Anyone heard anything concrete?
  5. Looking to buy an original Game Boy store display tabletop kiosk, . I'm new to this site but have a good reputation on nintendoage. Willing to trade other games, rare merchandise, or PayPal. If you have one (or a similar one, let me know
  6. Hi guys, I've been an Atari fan since my early childhood and I have always had some ataris around me. Two years ago I started my adventure with Atari Lynx. The problem I encountered with the growing number of cartridges was the lack of a proper storage unit. Okay, I know I can hold them in Atari carrying bag or Songbird's one, but they can hold up only a small number of cartridges. So I decided to make one on my own. It can store 36 games, both carts and PCB. It's very durable and has a sweet logo on the front. I have made only a few so if you guys want I can sell some of them at a good price of only 20 Euros plus shipping I accept both PayPal and Bank drafts. PM me if interested
  7. Now that I have a big HDD, I need to fill it with some games! Any recommendations that are download only? (I prefer physical when possible--thus won't be downloading retail releases.) I tried to download Double Dragon Neon last night but it wasn't available anymore (bummer) The Wipeout games look good... Any other strong candidates?
