  2. Swordquest podcast: http://www.arcadeattack.co.uk/podcast-march-3-2018/ Hi guys, Please see above link to listen to my tribute / story of the infamous Atari competition; Swordquest for Arcade Attack's latest podcast! I also have a few exclusive quotes from Tod Frye (the games creator) thrown in for good measure. A proper podcast interview with Tod is scheduled for the near future! I look at the main drivers of the competition, the history of the four games, the comics and prizes, the winners and losers of the competition and what could have been... FYI: Sorry about the sound quality of this particular podcast. We had a few issues with the file export and rather than scrap the pod completely we wanted to give our listeners a warning. This is not out usual sound quality. Sorry. Kind regards Adrian
  3. Hello all! My production company just started a Kickstarter campaign for the Atari 2600-themed film CHRISTMAS BYTES. Set in 1982, the film -- produced by Dule Hill (Psych, West Wing), featuring Michael Shannon (Boardwalk Empire, Man of Steel) with a soundtrack by The Residents -- is about two fourteen year-old boys, one wants an Atari 2600 for Christmas. The other? A girlfriend. Here's a link to the campaign: http://www.kickstart...christmas-bytes We're offering all sorts of Atari-themed perks, including signed Atari 2600 box art by Cliff Spohn, ATARI FORCE comics signed by Gerry Conway, an 8 bit 'ADVENTURE'-style game made by the amazing folks at 8 Bit Rocket, a 'Swordquest: Waterworld' cartridge and a ton of other great items. Sound interesting? Then head on over to the above link... Questions? Send me a note! -Brett Neveu writer/producer CHRISTMAS BYTES with Wild Mouse Films
  4. I didn't see this in a search, so thought I would post: Atari Classics Original Swordquest comics in graphic novel form available for pre-order on AMZN. It looks like Yars Revenge: The Qotile Ultimatum is included as well. I wonder if it will include at least a planned conclusion for Airworld. Probably not, but at least some bonus concept information would be cool. https://www.amazon.com/Atari-Classics-Swordquest-Roy-Thomas/dp/1524104035/ref=as_li_ss_tl?ie=UTF8&linkCode=ll1&tag=atariage&linkId=580b94f4ab412189f632aeee7cd78257
  5. Tod Frye is an extremely big deal in our circles and he kindly gave our Adrian an hour of his precious time for the latest Arcade Attack podcast! He's known for his work on the Atari 2600 Pac Man, Swordquest and also on the 3DO. But, could he finally complete the Swordquest games and Airworld? You'll have to listen to find out...
