  1. I decided to get an NES Toploader, I really wanted a NES 8-Bit unit that low-budget made, but I can not get any response from the guy. So where I am at now. I got a toploader and ordered the NESRGB kit for it, it really looks like an amazing kit. I have read a bunch and watch a few videos but it does not seem that anyone is getting stereo (or at least 2 channel audio) out of the kit. The video jack that it comes with looks like a total hack! I ordered the famicom multi port kit to install on my NES and it has a pin for left and right audio, but the NESRGB only has 1 audio out channel. Does anyone have a work around, can I just split that 'mono' out and at least get audio to both speakers? I am using that famicom multi out to a SCART cable that will feed an OSSC with stereo speakers attached, I would like both speakers to get audio.
  2. I recently got an nes-101 from a friend for free. it had been sitting around for some time he said, didnt know if it worked. When i power the console up the picture is black with 2 thick white lines and it emits a buzzing noise through the tv. The reset button also does not seem to work. I am at a loss as to what to do. I have tried 2 different power supplies, 2 different tvs, 3 different rf cords, all original nes-101 cords. The problem is the exact same with and w/o a game inserted, no change. Some things I am considering are bad (from what i could find on the net) are the ppu, rf moduale, or the power supply capacitor.
  3. Currently after an RGB-Modded NES-101 Toploader of reputable quality. Here's what's needed: NESRGB Mod w/ 3-palette switch. Palettes: RGBSource's set that uses NESCAP, HYBRID, and FCEUX (Improved) SNES styled AV multi-out port to use my HD Retrovision cables on. Either this or component out via the optional addon board. Whichever provides the best quality component output to my JVC CRT. Any other necessary component replacements (capacitors, resisters, voltage regulator, etc.). Power-on LED light. Optional: Support for expansion audio from Famicom games or Everdrive. I'm also after an RGB + Deblur modded N64. Can be either Grape Purple (NA) or Midnight Blue (JP), just as long as it can play NA region games. Including a good condition OEM controller of the same color would be a plus. Be sure to include photos of your previous work for reference.
  4. SOLD NES top loader modded with HDMI kit REV 2. and LED added under the power switch. No fading or cracks - has some scuffs on the right side ( it hard to tell from the pics) And HDMI cutout isn't perfect, but otherwise very good condition. I performed this mod - if unit fails in the first two weeks after receiving, you can return it minus shipping. Almost ALL of these are sold as- is, no warranty. Even gametech doesn't warranty the mod kit. The top loader doesn't have the lock out chip - so no blinking screen problems. $325 for just the NES-101 (plus shipping - $15) $350 For the NES, aftermarket power adapter, aftermarket NES control pad and HDMI cable (plus shipping). These usually go for about $400 to $500 on eBay, I sold my last one for $375 on CL. - So I think the price Is pretty fair. SOLD - Thanks
