  2. I thought it is time to show "The Voice of Odyssey2" in action on video. I now could connect it to my European PAL G7400 thanks to the Voice+ adapter. I also got the C7060 multicart.
  3. Revival Studios is proud to present their latest game release for the Philips Videopac and Magnavox Odyssey2 consoles, called Cavity. In cavity, your goal is to navigate your way through the cave while collecting various power-ups for points. As the game gradually increases in both speed and difficulty, you can collect a yellow power-up which temporarily stops the speed from increasing. If you get the special item by picking up the blinking power-up at the right moment, you will be rewarded with a massive boost to your score as well as an instant speed-down The game uses advanced color-techniques, so that for the first time the gameplay experience will be identical on the bare-bones Odyssey2/G7000 console and the Videopac+/G7400 , while still providing rich multicolor graphics. Enjoy the trailer (watch with sound on): The game is available on cartridge in a run of 100 copies. For more information about the game , visit the game's website at: http://www.revival-studios.com/?page=136
  4. Revival Studios has just released its first game for the Videopac and Odyssey 2 game systems, called: AstroDodge. In this game you are controlling a nice multicolored spaceship, having to dodge the hordes of asteroids coming towards you. The game is playable on all Videopac, Videopac+ and Magnavox Odyssey2 systems, but also includes additional support for high resolution backgrounds on Videopac+ systems, and digitized speech through the voice module. More than that, players could also submit their highscores and achievements online through the use of a code, something has not been seen in any videopac/Odyssey2 game before. Check out the trailer here: Game features: - Playable on Videopac and Odyssey2 consoles - High resolution background on Videopac+ consoles - Digitized speech using The voice add-on - Animated multicolor sprites - Internet highscore uploading - Online rewards system - Hidden gameplay mode For more information about the game, including information on how to order the game on cartridge, go to the Astrododge page at http://www.revival-studios.com/?page=124
  5. Hi Videopac collectors, Videopac 70 "Terrahawks: The Second Assault" has been released on cart in a limited run of 100 copies. This is a former Videopac prototype from the early 1980s and maybe this game was planned as a sequel to Videopac 51 "Terrahawks" back then. As always, the game comes with cartridge, original style label, Videopac plus inlay and manual. This is a must for every Videopac collector! If you haven't already bought the game at Retroevent in Holland or ordered it on the Videopac forum, you can order it now via mail order through my website. You can find all infos here: www.classic-consoles-center.at/videopac By the way: A few copies of my two previous releases Videopac 8+ "Baseball" (with additional background graphics) and Videopac 66+ "Route 66" are still available too. Get them as long as stock lasts, no more will be made! Best regards, Dieter from Classic Consoles Center
  6. Odyssey 2 family, I am wondering and hoping someone has a few or a bunch of Videopac flip cases they are willing part with that is located in the US. I am currently trying to catch up on homebrews and want to knock a little bit off the cost of shipping from overseas which is where the majority of them will be coming from. Thanks for any help or advice.
  7. Help! I need to find the K.C. Munchkin Easter egg! The Atari 7800 version of K.C. Munchkin has a special Easter egg that enables the player to play the game in the original mode of the game. I am a huge fan of the original Odyssey2/Videopac version of K.C. Munchkin. How can I set the Atari 7800 K.C. Munchkin into the original mode of playing? Please list info on how to find the Easter egg of the Atari 7800 version of K.C. Munchkin.

PM me if you're interested. Thanks for looking! Jose
  9. Join Wizzy, the son of the Wizard of Odyssey, in his first adventure! While working on a powerful spell,Wizzy's father was being watched by others. As a precaution he captured the spell inside a crystal and divided it into 4 pieces, which he buried inside the mines, just south of your village. It is now up to you to collect these pieces and bring them together inside the enchanted chest to ensure the spell doesn’t fall into the wrong hands. This game really pushes the boundries of what is possible on the dear old Philips Videopac and the Magnavox Odyssey 2 ! Check out the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WcD6qczYIJY Game features: - Playable on Videopac and Odyssey2 consoles - High resolution background on Videopac+ consoles - Multicolored backgrounds and sprites - Digitized speech using The voice add-on - Internet highscore uploading - Online rewards system Release information: The game is available on cartridge with a limited release of 100 copies. 10. Here are some picks of a WIP case and AV mod for the O2. Should have it done by the weekend. You don't see too many O2s that have been case modded so I though that I'd share. The silver was wrecked when I picked this up so it was a good candidate for a refurb. It is the model with detachable controllers. These were dead but I harvested the cables and rewired some CX-40s. Anyone else ever paint an O2? Show us your pics!
