  3. I'm looking to procure a copy of the strategy guide for The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds for my collection. In trade, I have the following two strategy guides: God of War 2 And New Super Mario Bros Wii Both strategy guides have had little to no use. The NSMB Wii guide is in excellent shape, the GoW 2 guide is in "good" shape. If you'd like to trade, please let me know via PM. I'll pay shipping on my end, you pay on yours. I will ship this in a standard envelope, padded for extra protection. Tracking number not necessary, but if you want it from me, I'll provide it for you. Thank you. Steve
  4. I am new to the Colecovision scene but I have noticed in the threads that Flappy Bird & Space Taxi are being ported to the Colecovision. I even read about Zelda for the CV so I thought since that's possible why not some classics like Archon, Trap Door, Mail order Monster, etc. Is there any interest in the community to have some C64 all time classics ported to the CV. thanks

  7. Despite owning most Nintendo systems, I have never played a Zelda title. I currently have a DS, 2DS, and Wii U. I'm looking at Wind Waker HD and Ocarina of Time 3D. Any suggestions which one to start with? Should I even start with those, or go to the Virtual Console first?

  9. I'm making a demake of The Legend of Zelda. I made a Link sprite for my demake and I'd like an opinion on it. Tell me whether my sprite is good or if it sucks. Constructive criticism appreciated! Thank you! Here it is!
  10. I got Pitfall and Star Wars Arcade for the Coleco, Burgertime and Triple action for the Intellivision, "Raiders Lost Ark" Rare label variation for the 2600. I also got Zelda: A Link to the Past DX and Dragon Warrior 3 for the GBC which I could be talked into parting with. All games are loose and in acceptable to like new condition. Will post pictures if need be. I'm looking to trade for one or more Sega Master System games. Im particularly interested in getting my hands on a Sega card copy of Ghost House,Rastan, any of the Alex Kidd games,Space Harrier, Golvellius, and Master of Darkness but I've only just started collecting for the SMS so I'm open to pretty much anything except sports games. Loose games welcome. I would also consider buying if the price is right.
  11. Hey guys, so this time I messed up bad, no excuses here. Simply how can I fix this. Also will the product pictured below which is an conductive epoxy help? The game is Zelda for NES.
  12. Anyone that has ever started a business knows that it is quite a financial undertaking and sometimes can be mind blowingly tough, though extremely rewarding at the same time. We have hit a road block with Retro Gaming Magazine and bringing it to life. Asking for help is humbling and hard to do, especially with a project like this. There is quite a bit of interest in Retro Gaming Magazine and we are dedicated to making it happen. We humbly ask anyone that is even slightly interested in seeing the mag happen to please check out the project page and if possible, chip in something to help. We have a solid team running the magazine including: Martin Alessi who was Art Director for Electronic Gaming Monthly in the early 90's and helped shape the magazine early in it's life. Martin has taken up art duties for Retro Gaming Magazine. Compare his cover (and when we can release them, his layouts for issue #1) to the preview pages I created and it is like a night and day improvement. Several staff members have worked with Gamefan Magazine in reviving the magazine with issue #6 (released around the summer of last year). These include: Nick Abrams, well known to The Retro League community as one of the co-hosts of the show (we stole him away to work on the mag that he is co-owner of). Nick was one of the new writers to provide retro content that debuted that section in Gamefan Magazine. Michael Crisman, our resident retro scribe (dude can throw words like no one's business), while he worked on Gamefan #6, he still resides at Video Game Cowboys under the moniker, Modern Zorker. Carl Williams (the guy writing this), known to many as TriVerse and generally a loudmouth and co-owner. I am currently the guy that will get yelled at a lot for the mag not being it's best. If anyone can help promote the project page, that would be great. The more people that see it, the more likely it will be funded and we can realize the dream in it's full range.
  13. I think I've stumbled across something here. While playing around on the game, I ventured into the Lanayru Sand Sea area for the first time. After crossing the chasm over to where the dock is, I turned around to look back in the direction from where I came into the area (on the map, it's toward the east). When I looked up at the tower that I came into the area from, I saw this... So what do you folks think? Seeing what I am?
  14. I just realized there are two "Game Over" screens for The Legend of Zelda for the NES. The pic on the left is the one I am most familiar with. Just the Continue, Save, and Retry options. The screenshot on the right issued a caution/warning underneath the Contine, Save, and Retry options just like in Zelda 2. I remember seeing this as I played this at a friends house in 1990/1991. And after all these years it has come back to me. I was wondering which cart version had this one. Just curious.
