+RangerG #1 Posted June 16, 2002 Where is a link or old message with the titles of several of the popular video game magazines from the '80s? I know there was Atari Age, Electronic Games and Joystick. However, there were others and I'd also like to know the production runs. I have seen several web pages with this information, but I can't find them now. Thanks in advance, RG
NE146 #2 Posted June 16, 2002 Here is a scan of most of the Joystik magazines (missing one issue). Unfortunately the guy who scanned it only scanned the pages dealing with arcade games and left out anything home console related or reviews. etc. http://www.stormaster.com/RGVAC-Manuals/Jo...stik-Magazines/ Or there is of course Phaze's classic videogame magazine museum: http://cvmm.vg-network.com/ Or I did some scans of my own of the book Invasion of the Space Invaders. It's only the 2nd section but I figured what the heck: http://207.115.72.242/frank/bookscans/Invaders/ And there is someone here on the boards also with a collection of mags and books and has a page about them. But I'm not sure about the url. But hopefully he'll reply
rolenta #3 Posted June 16, 2002 RangerG, If you send me your email address, I'll send you Appendix D from my book Phoenix: The Fall & Rise of Videogames. It has covers of the first and last (or current), aand dates, of 95% of the American magazines, past and present.
