Bruce Tomlin
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=280068131631 Someone is selling an Applied Microsystems Z80 in-circuit emulator on ebay. This is what I've been using when I need to debug on the real hardware. All you need to do is strip a Colecovision down to the bare board, desolder the Z80, and replace it with a socket. It looks to be in good condition, with 64K overlay memory, and even already has a socket on the probe tip to keep pins in the double-male DIP thingy in the probe tip from breaking. With one of these you can completely overlay not just the cartridge memory, but the BIOS ROM as well. You can do a serial upload as high as 19200 baud (using intel hex files), single step, 250 cycle trace, two hardware breakpoints, lots of stuff. You can even dump cartridges over the serial port by just pressing a few keys. Here's my page with info on this: http://xi6.com/em-180/
