kmarker
I have a 6-switch that works great if the difficulty switches are in the A position, however, whenever I have them in the B position the colors start messing up. It happens both when I change the position while the unit is turned on, or when the switches are already in the B position and then I turn it on. Why would this happen? Has anyone else run into this problem?

Dragnerok X
I have a 6-switch that works great if the difficulty switches are in the A position, however, whenever I have them in the B position the colors start messing up. Has anyone else run into this problem? Now seriously. One thing you can do is check the contacts of the difficulty switches and make sure they are properly soldered on the board (yes, you have to "open" your precious Atari to do this ) Next thing I would check to see is if the TIA and other IC's are properly seated (inside the shield) within their sockets. Uzumaki
Also it's possible the 7805 regulator is about to fail and it's not providing enough regulated power.
