StormSurge #1 Posted January 18, 2007 Anyone else playing this? I'm currently hooked. I'm working through the single player game & the multiplayer is fantastic. I was a huge SOCOM guy, but this is infinitely better. I just wish I could spend more time playing to get that higher rank & the goodies that come with it. SomeGuyWithDSL #2 Posted January 18, 2007 Anyone else playing this? I just bought it last night with a 2-for-1 coupon, and ended up spending the entire evening getting my face mapped "just right" onto my multiplayer model using the Vision camera. Too cool. Haven't even played it yet

Too cool. Ah hell, it supports that livevision mapping feature? Time to finally pick up one of those cams then I guess!

Lord Thag #5 Posted January 18, 2007 (edited) I just beat it. GREAT game. It has a far better and vastly more involving story than the usual with these military shooter games. The controls are excellent, the cover system is inspired, and the AI is very tough. It's also very fun online. It's the best FPS I've played in a long time. The face mapping thing is amazing, too. My brother has the camera and I jumped online with him the other night and was pretty amazed. His character looks just like him. Great stuff, folks, if you're on the fence! SomeGuyWithDSL #6 Posted January 18, 2007 Who has a 2 for 1 coupon? I had a couple from Hastings.
Red 5 #7 Posted January 18, 2007 I love the Tom Clancey series. Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, Rainbow 6. However, it was starting to feel stale. Rainbow 6 Vegas has brought me back. I can't get enough. My friend, my brother and I play terrorist hunt on hard almost every night now as well. When we finally cleared the casino, we celebrated like we won the Super Bowl. Best Clancey game so far IMO. NE146 #8 Posted January 18, 2007 I play it on Live using my brother in laws account since I'm living in his house until mine is completed. He's good, but I suck. I think I muck up his name when I play
StormSurge #9 Posted February 17, 2007 I finished the single player, now I guess I have to do it on Realistic. A great challenge, and one that helps your online skills, is going through the single player terrorist hunts on Realistic. You'll unlock two achievements and get frustrated all at the same time. It's very rewarding once you finish them all. Just remember to choose low density. I love playing online too. I've had some great battles. I just wish I had more time to play! IronMongeR #10 Posted February 18, 2007 I must suck because I'm finding the single player nigh on impossible.
StormSurge #11 Posted February 20, 2007 I must suck because I'm finding the single player nigh on impossible. Are you playing Realistic or Normal? There's a big difference between the two.
IronMongeR #12 Posted February 22, 2007 Normal I think. Just find that some of the checkpoints are a long way apart. Though to be fair, I've not played the game that much since I got it at Xmas.
StormSurge #13 Posted April 18, 2007 New maps & game types available for download today. Finally!
Shannon #14 Posted September 6, 2007 (edited) Though I'd dig up this old topic. I know the game has been around a while. I usually avoid these type games. But we ended up renting it and I love the game. It's a real blast!! I'll have to add it to my wish list. One thing that drives me crazy though is they have the grenade button mapped to the B button which is typically used to exit from screens (like the snake cam) so I have this bad habit of blowing myself up by accident. compacho #15 Posted September 17, 2007 I'm new to 360 and I just Dl'd the demo and I'm having a fairly tough time since I've never played a Tom Clancy ever. Its gonna take me some time, but the production value in this game tells me to keep trying. And would you guys say that Gears of War plays similar to this game?
