I'm surprised the "Smash My Console" guys haven't bought it just to smash it for the guy. (Although I don't doubt the guy is blowing smoke to get a high bid.)

I mean c'mon.. I'm trying to sell excess stuff I have to try and get some extra cash to take care of a couple of hospital bills.. but that's just stooping low. Noone would want to pay fourty times the highest amount I've seen for a red-ball go for on eBay.

 

I'm gonna be upfront about this, being someone who deals with a mental and physical disability: it's ok if what you have causes concern and support from others you know, but eliciting this kind of pity.. it'd disgusting.

If I thought I could get $1,000 worth of pity for a $5 controller, I would probably do it too!

Remember, there have been thing sold on there that were a lot less useful and many sold for waaaay more money.

I've got a piece of toast that has the atari logo for five grand if anyone is interested!
