There was also a show on Nickelodeon when I was a kid called "Wild and Crazy Kids". It was a game show of sorts where they'd pit teams of kids against each other in rather wacky ways. In one of the episodes they played a "real life" Space Invaders by tossing water balloons from above to tag the "alien" kids moving in formation. I can't find a video of it, but with the power of YouTube, I did find a similar "human battleship" event they did. Based on that, you can imagine how the invaders version was done.

BTW, the updates to the Blinkenlights project are darn cool! I hadn't realized that they'd added so many games. Must suck to work late in those buildings.

They really did the whole thing in the seats? They didn't take a certain number of photos of them in seats and do the rest digitally?

Hmm--- is the forum searcher on atariage-- not so good?

I could swear that I tried "real life" and "space invaders" and got nothing. Yet, they're the title of that thread. Maybe I'm using it wrong?
