PuddWakkr #1 Posted January 30, 2007 Anyone on here have one of these... I'd kind of like to get one for my Arcade titles but I have never really like Madcatz stuff because the quality always seems like it will break if you look at it wrong. My Ms. Pacman is really wanting a stick like this. Anyone give me a thumbs up on this?
moycon #2 Posted January 30, 2007 I saw one at Circuit City, They look kinda slick but to be honest I'd rather have an arcade stick like the X-Arcade That Madcatz stick looks kinda crowded. The wheel would be cool if it's spins and they released Tempest or a similar game. Maybe that Space Giraffe. I don't know that it actually spins. From what I could tell it seemed solid enought. Kinda pricey though, seems to me it was like $60.
christianscott27 #3 Posted January 30, 2007 That thing looks built to fail, mad catz + hard use = waste of time. Anyways on a related note I was a TRU the other day and they were blowing out wireless arcade sticks for xbox 1, for a mere $6.25. I dunno why I didnt get one, it wasnt until later I remembered I could run emus on the xbox.

Lord Helmet #5 Posted February 17, 2007 That's a better than expected review. Still pretty pricey though.
bust3dstr8 #6 Posted February 17, 2007 First, sorry about the massive pic. I don't have any edit software on my new pc yet. I picked this up at EB two weeks ago for $19. It has Xbox and PS2 connectors. I don't have a 360 so I'm not sure if it is compatable. This stick is very well made and you can swap out arcade parts at your liking. moycon #7 Posted February 18, 2007 (edited) Just FYI, You can attach pics to your post and it will automatically downsize it to the perfect size. Just look towards the bottom when you post and you will see a File Attachment field. Edited February 18, 2007 by moycon
Jess Ragan #8 Posted February 18, 2007 To answer your question... no. Game controller for the Xbox aren't compatible with the Xbox 360, even if you have a USB controller converter. Microsoft's got a security protocol running in the Xbox 360 so it ignores controllers not licensed or manufactured by the company. It really sucks, but slowly and surely, Hong Kong manufacturers are finding ways around it. Those solutions are really expensive, though. JR
MCHufnagel #9 Posted February 25, 2007 I was looking at this stick at EBGames and it says that it's compatible with XP and you get three free XBLA games (only remember that Time Pilot was one of them). But it does look too crowded and is pretty pricey for a Mad Catz product. I did pick up a X-Arcade for my PC and that's all I really need.
Atariboy #10 Posted February 25, 2007 I'd buy it if the joystick wasn't backwards. I'm too used to Atari 2600 joysticks to ever get used to swapping my hands around to use this.
