EricDeLee #2 Posted February 3, 2007 umm... the Krok is loaded? opps Will that get a thread locked? Esentially you are selling the Krok for more than it was bought for... because it has ROMS loaded on there. That doesn't look too good...

+Omegamatrix #13 Posted February 5, 2007 Topic has changed... Andrew has called it quits. @Andrew although you think a lot of people were picking on you, they were really just saying what fair market value for your stuff was. I'm sorry you felt either it was too little or what have you. I think your new bin is fair for what you have. I'm sorry you are leaving, but if you have any genuine interest in the hobby you will be back. Omega
jboypacman #14 Posted February 5, 2007 Hate to see someone leave but if he really loves Atari he will be back.I dont think anyone was picking on him from what i seen from the posts.I think everyone was telling him what was fair for his stuff he was trying to sell.I guess he might of took it the wrong way or felt he should get more out of it i guess. Crazy Climber #15 Posted February 5, 2007 I think he was picked on a little but nothing bad enough to quit over. Some people are more sensitive then others I guess. Sorry dude, maybe you will change your mind and come back, otherwise see you around.
A.J. Franzman #16 Posted February 5, 2007 http://www.atariage.com/forums/index.php?s...=100245&hl=It's cheaper than last time Now there's no price given, and he still hasn't given a picture or description of the "arcade" custom joysticks. All he says is "relisted" without even saying where!

darthkur #19 Posted February 5, 2007 I think he was upset when it was suggested to him that $15 shipping for those items was a tad on the exorbitant side, which I'd have to agree with. I guess the truth hurt.
Paranoid #21 Posted February 6, 2007 (edited) Wow... So some guy arrives, creates a huge two-thread-wide controversy over a Krok Cart system bundle, then dramatically makes a "farewell" post, and I only caught the tail end of it? Interesting. The guy I got into it with about 8 months back over the 7800/CC2 deal was trying to convince me that the fact that the CC2 was loaded with his ROMs and custom menu was a value add to the product. Personally, customizing these things myself is almost as fun as playing the games. The Craigslist XBox soft-modders do this too, "Xbox, 200 Xbox games, DVD movies, and over 3500 retro games installed on 200gb hard drive, $250!" CGQuarterly #22 Posted February 6, 2007 Good lord, what a crybaby. BTW I have a few extra Combat carts, and if someone doesn't pay me $5 for each of them plus $6 shipping, I am quitting AA for good and burying my Atari collection in the back yard. RickHarrisMaine #25 Posted February 6, 2007 I rather think anyone who makes a "farewell post" is just hoping that enough of a groundswell occurs to keep them coming back. Kind of like Cher and her "farewell concerts." Maybe we should just call this guy "Cher"?
