Goochman #1 Posted February 9, 2007 Goatari seems to be unloading all of the leftover Jag stock. Pretty good initial prices and so much stuff not everything gets 2nd bids. This must be killing sourstuff4u's storefront Its been going on for a few weeks, not sure how much longer but if you're looking for some things now is a good time. Almost as good as the KB Toys sell off
Broonale #4 Posted February 9, 2007 They've been having a sales orgy for 2 months now. It's great to pick up all that stuff, but I worry they are selling off to close out. SS4U seems to have given up trying to buy every Doom, Flashback and Theme Park. I was able to get all three and Zoop all sealed for $10 to $13. I got sealed Cannon Fodder for $5. Six copies of Myst for $ 0.99 to 3.99! Buy a bunch and combine shipping.
Goochman #5 Posted February 9, 2007 Yup - too much for anyone - Im going to pickup a few doubles - wish he had more CD titles though
ls650 #6 Posted February 10, 2007 Still, I'd really like to pick up a Pro Controller and a copy of Power Drive Rally, and his price on those hasn't come down any...
EmOneGarand #7 Posted February 10, 2007 SS4U seems to have a bid on almost EVERY composite cable, glad I got mine from GoAtari earlier this year... I wonder how many he's gonna hoard and markup... it's gonna be a lot harder to complete my collection with people like that buying up all the reasonally priced auctions and marking themup for resale
ovalbugmann #8 Posted February 10, 2007 SourStuff4U seems to have met his match! Good for us!

ls650 #10 Posted February 10, 2007 SS4U seems to have a bid on almost EVERY composite cable, glad I got mine from GoAtari earlier this year... Me too. I've noticed that for months, he's been putting in fairly high bids of $30+ on all the AV and SVideo cables, then reposts them in his 'store' for $49.95. The really sad thing is that Jag buyers who don't do their research won't know that you can buy and SVideo cable from that guy in Texas for $16... ovalbugmann #12 Posted February 12, 2007 I've been ordering Jag stuff from goatari since 1997, I believe they are the original phone/web/mail Atari dealership that Atari themselves used to own & promote. Hence the name - Go Atari. They were in business when the old Atari was still around. You can't order by phone anymore and they are now independently owned. I'm not sure if "Pete" the guy who handles all the orders is an owner or worker, but all their stuff is new, pristine, and all perfect originals. They have at least one, if not two warehouses full of most of the remaining stock Atari tried to liquidate upon the JTS merger. I think Pete is trying to liquidate some of his more plentiful stock, in the best Atari Jaguar market these days, eBay. Some of their items are the store returned Jaguar stock from when Jaguar stuff was taken off the store shelves(I've noticed a few store stickers and worn, slightly damaged boxes on larger items). I'm only seeing select items at reduced prices on eBay, not much of the rarer items, probably because he doesn't want to mark those down for quick sale. His prices on goatari.com are very high. ls650 #13 Posted February 12, 2007 I agree with you. The stuff he's putting up is more common: note that he isn't auctioning any of his copies of, say, Atari Karts or Defender 2000?
Goochman #14 Posted February 12, 2007 True - you need to be selective on some things - he has raised some of the minimums on a few things that had low initial offers originally. He had Memory Tracks starting at $49.99 - I dont think anyone bought them and they havent resurfaced. However - you can get controllers for a good price now

If he had put any of the less common games up at a lower price.. SS4U would have been all over it..
Goochman #16 Posted February 12, 2007 I got 2 new controllers for $9.99 - team tap White Man Cant Jump here I come! Of course I need 3 more friends
ovalbugmann #17 Posted February 13, 2007 WMCJ is a good basketball game despite some bad reviews, if you won that new WMCJ from goatari today, I was the other losing bidder on it. Congratulations it's a fun game. I also bid on that Jaguar baseball cap , it had the cat scratches on it, I lost that auction too, it went for $20+ dollars. I have a Jaguar hat, but it doesn't have the red scratches on the top of the sun visor.

I've wanted to check out WMCJ especially for the team tap and it's otherwise low prices brand new, but the reviews have always been a deterrent.. but then again.. the prices are always cheap so I guess I can't go wrong
ovalbugmann #19 Posted February 13, 2007 (edited) WMCJ is like playing half-court B-Ball in the hood (on some courts). It has good control, action, a not too hard learning curve, you can hit! other players, steal, and everyone has smart ass comments to say while playing. Also, has good replay value, it's enjoyable I thought, you will like it. Edited February 13, 2007 by ovalbugmann

Right when I was going to place a bid on that cap it froze up. I was willing to pay $30+ on it, so I probably would have won it, since I usually put my bids in within the last 10 seconds of the auction. Stupid computer... stupid me :-/
ovalbugmann #21 Posted February 13, 2007 I know, I also hate it when the computer freezes up at a critical time or freakin' restarts itself on me in the middle of doing something like placing a last minute bid on ebay. I would like to find out what the hell is going on in the computer that makes an error so bad, it must restart itself. Arrugghh!

ls650 #25 Posted February 13, 2007 Is there an eBay rule against using a third part bid submitter? If so, it's news to me.
