Okami vs. Zelda Twilight Princess

Recommended Posts

Let the debate begin!

I have to tell you...

I love Zelda. I bought a Wii for the sole purpose of playing Zelda.

I absolutely love Twighlight Princes.

I was in the middle of Okami when Wii launched.

Put Okami aside and played Zelda non stop until I beat it.

Went back to Okami a few days ago.

I think I like Okami better. But just barely.

Either way, these are the 2 games that nobody should miss.

Zelda: Twilight Princess suffers from the Reeses effect. The decision to turn Link into a wolf a couple of hours into the game makes me think that somebody got Okami in my Zelda, and that it's not a chocolate and peanut butter quality combination. Fortunately, it doesn't take too long for Link to return to his original, elfin form.

I never thought about this, but it's very funny. I remember how the reviewers were saying "Okami is a Zelda Killer."

The thing is Zelda was in development cycle long before okami so i'm just gessing. Besides, both are great games it just hapens that i like Zelda a lot more than Okami, and Okami is flawled, sound, on the ps 3.

Here's my beef with Okami. It walks you through everything. They might as well put a big fat arrow to everything you need to do or go. Gorgeous game though.

I liked the visual style of Okami much more than I like Zelda (which I haven't finished yet). However, I'm finding that I enjoy the gameplay of Zelda more, it feels more varied and I found drawing with the analog stick in Okami to be rather awkward. The dungeons of Zelda from what I've seen thus far are incredibly well designed too.
