Just got my collection started

after only having about 10 games for a about a year and having a half dead 2600 sitting around a friend gave me a modest collection of Games.

you are very lucky you have friends with atari stuff and that are ready to give them away, no you are EXTREMELY lucky. none the less, welcome to the atari collecting league of extraordinary gentlemen....err..gamers.

he was gonna throw them away. his dormotory was getting too small. (he teaches at a college and boards there). now that i have a EPROM / EEPROM programmer i can continue work on my 4K EPROM cart.

The Slightly sad thing is he said he was Giving them to me because he has the Romsof them... i know... sad...

also, how much does albert charge for producing 4K cartridges? (With Label and no instructions) (only 1 or 2 carts with differing code)

Are you planning on being a collector only or a gamer? If you are a gamer, you should look at the top 100 games thread to get an idea of which are the most playable.

Both, Mostley Collector. i wol't let them collect dust but i woln't play it as much as my dear old SNES (Earthbound...)

I just started collecting for real september last year and have about 80 carts so far, I actaully got given a heavy sixer + approx 10 carts with instructions!! Some of the local retro shops have a few carts in every so often but collecting is slow!!! I'm trying to buy my mates collection off him but he is having none of it :D :D
