bust3dstr8 #2 Posted February 15, 2007 I wouldn't think so. I picked up a few games for the Genesis (Not For Resale) display copies off Epay because there where cheaper than the retail version.
Rockin' Kat #3 Posted February 15, 2007 Those genesis games that say Not For Resale on them were packins, not display copies. The "Not for resale" label was simply to keep shady retailers from pulling the games out of the packages and selling them seperate from the systems for more profit. Dusk2600 #4 Posted February 15, 2007 if you dont have the games, yes, if you do, it may not be worth it.
blastermaster #5 Posted February 15, 2007 they dont say not for resale like a pack in, they are for the display console, and only have a whiter paper label with text.

Bruce Tomlin #7 Posted February 15, 2007 Are these worth anything? there are 7 or so of them that i may be able to pick up, just wondering if it is worth it. "Worth it" depends on how much they are priced at, as well as how much you want them. They sure sound interesting to me. I've never seen any of these, so I would think that they are pretty rare. I didn't even realize that they made demo-unit SMS carts. There's probably even a good chance that they would run in the real hardware. Even more important might be if they are somehow different from the official releases. Just adding a game timer function to the code would make them worthy of dumping. I say pick them up because you might never have the chance ever again.
