atarimastermarty #1 Posted June 21, 2002 I went to a local thrift and this is what i found 1. Texas Instruments TI-99/4A (it's kind of beat up, but fixable.. Does anyone know if this is rare?) 2. 2 Texas Instrument Controllers 3.Early Learning Fun- for the TI-99/4A 4.Parsec- for the TI-99/4A 5.Beginning Grammer- for the TI-99/4A 6.Coleco Vision controller 7.Coleco Vision Power Supply ( Of course no damn colecovision!!!) 8. Jeopardy- for the Sega Genisis SO how do you think I did, it came out to be 28 dollars. P.S.- There was no need for all the smilies.
King Asmo #2 Posted June 21, 2002 The two TI controllers are harder to find than the TI computer (I've got about 4 computers, and *no* controllers). Although the TI uses a 9-pin joystick port, it isn't compatible with Atari joysticks.. so you either have to get TI joysticks or a WICO adapter (I chose the latter). All in all, not a bad find. You didn't get a *super* deal or anything, but I'd say you didn't overpay. The TI has a ton of great cartridge games.. Donkey Kong and Moon Patrol are terrific for that system.
