Feralstorm
I'm a little curious about this too. I don't have Protector SE, but am interested. I do remember the Amiga game though.
riffraff
I dont think I've played Protector, but Data Storm was one of the best Amiga games ever. It's got to be one of the few games in history that was superior than the coin-op it was based on.
ovalbugmann
I don't know about Data Storm but Protector and Protector SE are really great!! If you like DEFENDER/STARGATE type games Protector is a real treat, it is fierce, it's very competitive, has great graphics, control is dead-on and it's really fun and challenging. Pick it up if possible.
The Helper
Its kinda pricey but a damn good game. Not played the SE version yet.
Feralstorm
I seem to remember it stated in some other thread that Protector/SE was an enhanced version of a Sega Genesis game, which was itself an enhanced version of Datastorm. May not have my info straight though.
