Wing Commander Arena for XBLA

Check out IGN, Gamespot, or WCnews.com for more about this. At first I was excited (the screen shots are beautiful) but when I saw the movies on Gamespot, I saw that all the action takes place on one plane, like Pac-Man.

 

Can't we have a nice next-gen 3D online space shooter? Bring on Battlesphere 360 already.

Kinda off the topic but you know what would be an AWESOME Live game to me, and that would take place on a single plane? Ballblazer. I dunno why but that just popped into my head. I loved that game.
