Wanted: TIA "Stella" IC Chips for Atari 2600 VCS

Recommended Posts

I have several project consoles here and more on the way, so I'm looking for a good deal on about 5 NTSC Television Interface Adapter a.k.a. "Stella" integrated circuit chips. (The 40-pin chip farthest from the cart port, w/ part number CO10444...) These need to be known-good chips, properly handled and stored in accordance with accepted static-sensitive device handling methods (used chips are OK, but no sticking them in white styrofoam, please! Use black conductive foam, static-safe IC sleeves, or aluminum foil as a last resort.)

I will accept onesie-twosie deals too. I'll pay by trade, PayPal, or other method you prefer. Please see first link in my sig for trade items.

PM sent.
No response -- am I the April Fool?
OK, now this is weird -- the PM I sent to Curt has vanished from my Message Tracker and Sent Items pages without a trace or a reply.

Contact Best Electronics. They sell them, but they don't come cheap.
I know they have them, and their price. That's why I asked here.

B&C Computervisions sells them. $12 each.
I no longer deal with B&C due to the way they handled a prior transaction.

Sounds like maybe you need to resend it? If Curt never got it, that would explain the lack of a reply. :ponder:

Well, it was still there on the night of the 3rd but vanished sometime before my post on the afternoon of the 4th.

Anyway, 'nother PM sent to Curt.

OK, now today I found my original message to Curt in one of my PM storage folders, but I don't remember putting it there. Maybe I did it when I was half asleep or something.

I still don't have a response to that message or the second one I sent him, and I see he's been on AA several times since. I guess I am the fool after all.
