Snider-man #26 Posted April 3, 2007 2,446,650! Dude that is SICK HOUSE! Just curious....how long did that take? As I recall, about 6 1/2 hours. Although the score starts ramping up exponentially, it eventually drops BACK to the lower-scoring levels again. So, even though you'll be getting 5,000+ points for each rescue further on in the game, around 800,000, it drops back down to 625 per rescue and the score-ramping-up starts over again. And I got the score on Halloween. It's the second time I earned the high score on Halloween. (The first time was when I grabbed the 1,000,000+ score.) Then I did 2,000,000+. I was planning on turning in a 3,000,000+ point score, but rjchamp apparently has beaten me to it.
Rik #27 Posted April 3, 2007 (edited) Originaly this post started off by talking about the rarity of the game Halloween but it has turned into who holds the highest score. I myself can barely bust a 100,000 and I thought I was the pro. Snider-man freakin' rules with 2,446,650 points! Dude, are you kidding me.....that is just sick! If you played this game you know how difficult it can be. I'm curious to know how others have done on this game and what other high scores are out there. I know one thing for sure..... my 100,000 don't mean sh!t. Yes that is VERY IMPRESSIVE! Edited April 3, 2007 by Rik
Nukey Shay #28 Posted April 3, 2007 Working on 3 million now Groovy! Then tell me - once and for all - what happens at 1,000,000 to show you that you rolled the score? What changes? Specific answers or you're just blowin' smoke, my friend. The effect isn't very hard to discover (and to know what the effect would be at even higher multiples). Snider-man #31 Posted April 5, 2007 (edited) 1,625,950 Only my fifth real true try 3 million is coming Niiiice. Now that you've posted a screengrab, you now have my attention. But you REALLY need to record your run (you'll need at least 2 tapes or one big-assed DVD) for Twin Galaxies. Bragging on AA is one thing. If you eventually break 2 or 3 mill, you'll want some kind of "offically recognized" score posted globally. In fact, with all of your talk about "unpaid professional gameplayer", do you have ANY high scores officially recognized at TG? Just curious... Snider-man #34 Posted April 6, 2007 (edited) What a stupid question Didn't know your real name Chuckles. Calm the hell down. Geez... Go ahead and shatter the Halloween record as this apparently means Much more to you than it does to me, honestly. I guess this is a point of respect, honor, chutpah, or whatever for you. Truthfully, I truly don't care THAT much to put up with the attitude. Knock yourself out, dude. Edited April 6, 2007 by Snider-man

slosu #39 Posted May 2, 2007 I busted just over 100K for the second time. It gets so rediculous, I know for sure now that I'll never hit a MILLION!
Snider-man #40 Posted July 5, 2007 Well, Rudy and I started this little good-natured tete-a-tete several months ago, but I never did see a 3-million-plus score posted from him. Anyway, yesterday I got tired of waiting for the Champster to break my record... ...so I did it for him. Stay tuned to TG for the new high score. Nearly 10 hours of video recording this single marathon run went out in today's mail. And I left my own record in the dust in the process.

Fighter17 #42 Posted July 17, 2007 I don't know about you guys but this game is bullshit. If you can play this lame game for hours then you deserve a gold metal. Well I'll be in CGE 2k7 to see if this crazyness unfolds.
Snider-man #43 Posted July 18, 2007 If you can play this lame game for hours then you deserve a gold metal. Yay! Fighter's gonna present me with a gold "metal" at CGE! Looking forward to the awards presentation! Well I'll be in CGE 2k7 to see if this crazyness unfolds. It won't. I've already made it clear I have no intention of playing a head-to-head game anymore. I just wanted to make sure *I* was the first to post a 3-million-plus run on TG. And a 4-million-run will take 12 hours - something I just will never do. Well snider good job, I have just been laying low, taking back scores I was beaten on and perfecting my own, now that the record is 3 million, Ill go for five million, and you will see it posted by January. Along with many crazy scores TBA It's too bad you wont play in the Halloween competition, Todd Rogers and I made it avail to the public now, and a CGE exclusive only. Again this was never about taking your record, it was just to prove a point, that I'am one of the best gamers of all time. Well that's over now and proven, next is to just keep racking scores up and defending old ones, that is the reason why I won the AA NES championship last season because, I wanted too. This season ahh not many games I had nor liked. Next season is mine If I have time
rjchamp3 #45 Posted July 19, 2007 ....and I don't think you'll see a 3-million-plus score posted from him!!! Some of you forget who I'am around here. That's ok but I'am not going away either. I will continue to work on scores, and THE NES DREAMMASTER ONE DAY WILL HOLD ALL HORROR WORLD TITLES WELCOME TO MY NIGHTMARE

I can break the world record for Berserk on the VCS, but my god you want to know how many hours it's going to take to break the record? Any average player can break the record, but you must be able to withstand hours of boredom. That's something I can't stand.

Sweet Jesus dude. If you wanna play that game for 13-14 hours plus, be my freakin' guest. I had a ragin' case of numb-butt after my marathon. Besides, I waited for months for the 3-mil score from ya before I got bored. I think I'll be waiting just as long for this "new" score you plan to achieve. It's too bad you wont play in the Halloween competition, Todd Rogers and I made it avail to the public now, and a CGE exclusive only. Which explains that call I got from Todd. Nope, no head-to-head. I've proven my point, and I beat you to the 3-million-plus level. You talked the talk, but I actually did it, recorded it, and turned it in. Next season is mine If I have time If you ever want that record of mine from this point on, "time" is exactly what it'll cost ya. Fighter17 #50 Posted July 20, 2007 To paraphrase a famous cliche: "Those who can, do. Those who cannot, bitch that it is boring and a waste of their time." Or, to paraphrase a famous movie sequence: Good photo edit. I can do it, but I'm not wasting 24 hours straight of my life trying to beat one record. Records are not too important to me at all. If I had a choice to play a game for fun I would choose that. Games start to lose their fun once it becomes serious to you.
