Thelen #1 Posted June 23, 2002 i want to convert msa disk images into real disks, i have lots of 720Kb disks, and i'm using stdisk. but when i try to use it it always says: adress mark error...what does that mean ? doesn't my drive support it ?, or is it maybe better to use a real 720Kb drive ? Thanks, Thelen
Atari-Jess #2 Posted June 24, 2002 make sure you aren't trying this in windows in a dos box but in an actual DOS MODE or it will give you errors.
Goochman #3 Posted June 24, 2002 I think you need to convert youor .msa file into a .st file for your utility to work. Search for msa2st and you should find something to help you.
Thelen #4 Posted June 24, 2002 finally it works ! but it's a little strange. i tried an image of the game stario (stario.st), and that worked. when i later wanted to write another image to it it worked too ! but another floppie didn't work...all floppies work for me as i write stario stario (the first 2 sectors or more) to the disk and then the image i want.
