Gorf
Here is why...... My good friend Neil, passed away Monday 2/26/2007 from Cystic Fibrosis. He was easily the most loving accepting man I ever knew. He was truly the best friend I ever had. I never met anyone who did not adore him. He was always there for you and accepted you for who you were. He was an elder of our chuch and one who truly honored God and Christ and the golden rule. He knew what it meant to love thy neighbor. With that said. I will decide this week to re-release Gorf and put all proceeds to finding a cure for Cystic Fibrosis. I will probably charge a few dollars more this time around, but I want to make as much money for this as I can. I want to present a check to Ruthie and Kelly(his perfect wife and perfect young daugther, as it is these two I morn most for) so that the may give it to the foundation of thier choice. These two ladies, gladly let me into there house at least once a week to spend time with their ailing husband and father. Knowing what little time he had with them, they still looked forward to having me there as they knew Neil loved having me there.(Ok, ok so the guy had questionable taste in his choice of friends, ) Neil was the kind of church leader you could only hope to find in your local church. He never let his illness stop him from being there for you. He was the true definition of a selfless man. Neil was a man with incredible smarts and a killer sense of humor. Let's put it this way...as a church elder, marraige counseling is just one of the many tasks you perform. His idea of helping others through some things, was usually solved by him sitting you down, carefully pulling out the appropriate episiode of "Married with Children", make you watch the whole thing, and simply ask, "Now tell me again, why you think you got it so bad?" Worked every time. I mean come on folks....how many church elders would wait with anticipation for you to come over to watch a Kevin Smith film or 3 Stooges episodes with them? That's right. He knew where to draw the line between serious and fun. With all his suffering, he still could not wait to guide me through some difficult life choices. I owe him and unpayable debt of gratitue as well as his wife and daugter, who treated me equally as kind. They made me feel like a king when I was at thier house. I will miss this man sorely. Yet I will remember all the wisdom he tried to instill in me. I have vowed since that sad day, that I will do something to help fight the good fight against CF. I have also vowed to be there for Ruth and Kelly what ever their need may be. I do this in his memory and his honor. Anyway...enough blabbing....I will decide this week. I will weigh the possible trouble I could get into against the good cause...Im quite sure the cause will win this one. Then again.....let Midway try to sue me for a charitable cause. Details will be forthcoming. the FROG Edited March 10, 2007 by Gorf

The Helper
Yeah, lets just hope I dont get my ass handed to me over it...it would still be worth it though. I would highly suggest a private preorder campaign first in the community to see how much you might be able to raise and still keep it on the Quiet. Pocket
I think that if you have a proof that all the benefits will go to Cystic Fibrosi research, you shouldn't be worried.

That is what my hope is. I will have proof of reciept and I will scan and post it here for everyone one so you know that your hard earned money is going to the efforts of stopping a horrible killer. T2KFREEKER
Well, I am glad to see that Gorf will see the light of day again possibly as there are several people in the community that would love to get their grubby little paws on it. For a great cause I might add. I am sure that every penny helps with this one. Groovy Gorf, groovy indeed.

Gorf
There have been a few requests for carts. I may consider a small run but they will not be at all cheap as they will be intended for charity. Im talking a liot more than I would normally charge just to boost the charity effort. I say that because cart production is a LOTS of work by hand....if I bother with this it will have to be worth it and be be able to get a good more extra cash for the CF fund. If this were a regular commercial release, the cart price would be very reasonable...however, this is not the case. If I get enough request for them I'll consider it. Yes they will be professional. I may even may them personalized if the donation price is right. I want it to cost but I wat the buyer to still feel he certainly got his money's worth. but that should be settled by the good feeling you get for being charitable, right guys? Gorf
Oh yeah baby - Playing Gorf would definitely get me to a dusting off my CD - or is it cart only? Cart is a very slight and distant possibility. CD is the Gorf Classic standard for Jaguar.

Video
Oh shoot yeah, put me down for a cart if it happens. I know their hella expensive compared to a CD, but it just seems more 'special' you know? I'd still be interested in a CD either way though.

I know their hella expensive compared to a CD, but it just seems more 'special' you know? I'd still be interested in a CD either way though. Again, a reasonable price is what I would charge just for a game to the public. One that is a simple normal release. However, Im trying to raise money for a good cause. The price will be high, but I hope to make it worth every penny with some other stuff..Have not decided. Still have to talk it over with the rest of the stooges. The release will start off as a red case CD like planned. Probably in the $39.95 range this time. a few extra dollars for the cause. I will probably make a limited edition of carts and use that to get bigger donations....The cart and CD will denote the fact on screen that thie cart being played was a work to help fight CF. All receipt of donations will be posted publically as well. I'd want that same courtesy myself, so I galdly offer it here and where ever else I can post that info. Im also hoping to start a trend among all game developers. I know others have done such things in the past but, I plan to keep doing it. Also I may do special carts, like personalized to the buyer. Those will run you very high. but every dime will go to the cause... Im excited to be able to do something like this. I know Neil would be very grateful and humbled by it. Again....let me decide if it will be done with the guys first. Otherwise i'd already be all over producing them by now. We are a team. Broonale
Awesome! I really like you adding the cause to the startup screen! I will try to get a cart too if I can save up enough $$! I think this would be a great cause for any other devs to re-release under as well! I salute your creative fund raising!

There's more Jag core users than JagCD users I don't think "over producing" Carts is going to be a bad thing.
