zaxxonfan #1 Posted March 11, 2007 How rare is it? Both in cart and disk form? I can't find any anywhere, even Ebay. Is anyone able to make a copy on disk for me? Perhaps if someone has the game on disk and have 2 disk drives a copy can be made.

Rybags #3 Posted March 11, 2007 Strange. I would have thought it to be one of the all-time best sellers. But, I suppose although being one of the most famous 8-bit titles, it was probably also one of the most pirated.

Ross PK #5 Posted March 11, 2007 I had a pirated one back in the day too. In fact most of my games were pirated on disc, I think I had about 80 or something.

+poobah #7 Posted March 11, 2007 Darn it! I had original Boulderdash and the monkey game (Flip and Flop or something? small platforms and ladders, whole board flipped over) when i was 12 or 13.

ijor #9 Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) Strange. I would have thought it to be one of the all-time best sellers. But, I suppose although being one of the most famous 8-bit titles, it was probably also one of the most pirated. Most FSS releases are pretty rare, the only exception being perhaps Spy vs. Spy I. Indeed surprising considering that most FSS titles were very popular. I'm not sure this is related to piracy. In this case it sounds more like a publisher specific issue. Why people would pirate Boulder Dash much more than say, World Karate Champ or Summer Games (both very popular, but both among the most common games)? Christophero Sly #10 Posted March 11, 2007 (edited) It can't be that rare because I have it on cart and I don't even actively collect for the A8's. However, Boulderdash is pretty much the only reason I keep my 800xl. Edited March 11, 2007 by Christophero Sly
