Yep. game X change pays a quarter for 2600 carts. That's why I don't make it a habit of selling them there unless I have commons I absolutely want rid of.

Notice how their 2600 games tend to stick around a while, too. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who buys them. Next time I go in to a game x change, I'm going in there with a list of all the 2600 carts on my want list, and I'm going to grab up whatever they have that's on the list. I probably won't buy more than 3 or 4 carts at that time, either.

Game Stores rape you over the barrel... I should know, I work at one. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 for PS2, for instance: Trade in = $24 credit, Selling Price = $70!

 

Where does that make sense?!

 

Actually, that's not to bad there. A little more than 1/3 the value actually (which if I ever got a building, is probably what I'd pay for stuff) It's the stores that give you $2.40 and sell it for 70 that piss me off
