tcv #1 Posted March 13, 2007 I'm trying to spark a memory. I seem to recall an ad that ran in Electronic Games for some come of 2600-service that hooked up to the telephone through some sort of a special cartridge. I pined for that stuff badly, but I was never meant to get it. Presumably it was to download games? That was the promise, as I recall. Does anyone around here remember that? Did anyone ever use it? Cheers, Mike...

Tempest #3 Posted March 13, 2007 I have one, but I could never get it to work. I wonder if it doesn't like the 7800 for some reason or if it's dead? IIRC it had a slot on the side for a 9 volt for some reason (primitive battery back up?) Tempest
