Lastblade #1 Posted March 15, 2007 Is there a video filter for Mame32? I have my HTPC hooked up to my TV and the video output from Mame32 is weird, whereas, every other emu I have used (NES, SNES, Genesis) do not exhibit this. I tried to change various settings in the video tab but it is all the same, I can't really describe it but it is like the picture is composed of little circular dots... +FujiSkunk #2 Posted March 15, 2007 Sounds like you might have a video effect enabled. Go to Options -> Default Game Properties, and have a look at the Advanced tab. In the text box above the "Select Effect" and "Reset Effect" buttons, there probably is the name of an "effect". To get rid of the effect, hit the "Reset Effect" button and make sure the text box reads "none" afterward. Alternatively, you can use the "Select Effect" button to choose a different effect. Effects are meant to simulate the look of an old video arcade monitor on modern-day displays.
