Packrat Feedback Wanted!

Hi there!

 

I'd be curious to hear some feedback from programmers/customers dealing with Packrat lately, regarding these questions:

 

- How good is the quality of their products?

- How good/fast is the processing/delivery of orders?

- How good/fast is the service in case something went wrong?

- How good/fast is the communication?

- Any good/bad overseas experiences?

 

And, not to forget:

Was the Wolfenstein affair an excusable one-time disaster?

 

And most important:

How quick/reliable are they paying royalties?

 

Also any additional important info one should know, but I forgot to ask?

I bought my copy of Haunted Adventure SE from Packrat and had no problems at all.

 

But then I was a part of the Wolfenstein disaster, which really soured me towards them.

 

I would love to hear that they have gotten their act together again.

I've purchased from Packrat (but not especially recently). I have only good things to say. Nice guy. Helpful. I thought he had a good future. Sorry to hear about any 'disasters' and here's to only good things in the future.

I have purchased many times from them and have always had good experience. I'm glad I saw this post, I checked their site and found a new O2 homebrew had been released so I just ordered that as well.

There have been times when the site has gone for long periods without updates and I have twice sent email questions to them that were never answered (but did not involve orders).

 

Give them a try.

I have ordered from Packrat once and that was within the last 6 months. My order came extremely quickly. I was quite happy. I got a limited boxed Wolfstein VCS. The box blew me away. Looks like their problems were over a year ago. I will certainly buy from Packrat again.
