Up to 313 free bytes on Adventure.. hehe

Thanks to a TON of help from ThomasJ and the removal of some black and white code and a few not-quite necessary things I'm up to 313 bytes free on Adventure..

 

Not too shabby for a 4K Cart once I understand things better I should be able to save even more.

 

Nearly time to start adding code instead of removing stuff.

Shhh, don't tell anyone but here's a few of my ideas.. :-)

 

Without any modification to the current Adventure "Engine" (I use the word engine loosely), I can set my sprite draw properties to extra wide, like used in the bridge, so I plan on setting up a truly large boss creature.. Big problem will be making it hard to kill since there will be so much area to stab or whatever, may make it more of an un-killable blockage.

 

Also, by reversing a few bytes here and there in the magnet matrixes I can make the magnet come to an item instead of an item go to it, that will make for a cool multi-requirement quest, where a certain item is needed in order to retrieve the magnet, but it's required to retrieve another item. I should be able to lengthen the quest quite a bit.

 

I hope to add at least one new castle, with a whole new image, though the maps don't allow for much detail.

 

More maps, more mazes.. All new graphics.. I don't think I have enough clock ticks to add new creatures but we'll see.

 

I just hope I have time to work on it, it may become a huge undertaking.
