Joystick Rarity question

Recommended Posts

I recently was watching an eBay auction that had a GREY Atari Joystick. I think I have seen a white one before too. Are these colored sticks rarer than the CX-10's (heavy sixer joysticks)?

If so then I must have one! :D

I always thought the grey Atari sticks were the ones that came with the XEGS...? I can't say 100% for sure, I bought my XEGS used, but it came with grey sticks that are identical to the standard Atari sticks except the color (only the base is grey, the actual stick is black).

if they are grey sticks, they probably are the ones that came with the XEGS (it came with my XEGS at least... :) )

Thejoysticks may be from an ATARI XE system. I don't know about the rarity of them, but I think they are as good as the 2600's. I believe the Commodore ones were an off cream color, I have 2-3 set of them with the paddles, I forget if they had brown knobs & rubber joy handles.

Did it look like the one pictured here with my XE?

If so, it's an authentic Atari product -- although I don't know if it has a different model number.

Yep, that's the one.

Either I only got one with my used XEGS, or else I got two and have lost the second one (doubt that).
