8th lutz #1 Posted March 24, 2007 (edited) http://www.gamespot.com/news/6168009.html?...estnews;title;1 The governor of the Mexican state of Chihuahua has ordered that copies of Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 be confiscated, according to a report on Spanish-language site El Diario. Set in Juárez, Mexico, and El Paso, Texas, GRAW2 follows an elite combat unit battling Mexican rebels in the year 2014. Earlier this month, the mayor of Juárez, a city in Chihuahua on the Mexican-American border, criticized the game sharply, saying it instilled poor values and portrayed his town's people as violent. According to the report, Chihuahua Governor José Reyes Baeza Terrazas considers the game an insult not only to the city of Juárez, but to the entire country. Currently, authorities are gathering information on where the game is being sold, reproduced, and distributed in preparation for a seizure campaign, El Diario reported. +remowilliams #2 Posted March 24, 2007 Cool, so Mexico is taking the lead from the US - don't bother to try and actually solve your societies serious problems, just go after some irrelevant scapegoat!
Nukey Shay #3 Posted March 24, 2007 Shhh...don't say nuthin' about the goat, or you could be shot. This is a sore spot for the Governor, since he was unaware that the goat was underage at the time of their affair.
Lauren Tyler #4 Posted March 24, 2007 At least the United States doesn't try to go after the game companies and destroy their games. Mexico, though... Well, let's just hope the US doesn't get any ideas from them.

Jess Ragan #6 Posted March 25, 2007 When the leaders of Mexico have their heads buried in the sand and are completely unwilling to acknowledge the faults of their homeland, it suddenly becomes obvious why we have so many Mexicans flooding our borders.
