Socrates Educational Computer

Does anyone have any information on the Socrates? This is an "educational computer" aimed at (apparently) young children. I didn't notice who the manufacturer was and I have not been able to find anything on the web.

 

It includes a wireless keyboard and the base unit. The box pictured such accessories as a voice synthisizer and a mouse/drawing tablet. Apparently a range of cartridges are available.

I saw one of these at a local flea market for months and months and months. Probably still there in the same place....
