purenergy #1 Posted March 30, 2007 This new ebayer tried to contact me (along with the usual ebay warnings) via email, and I found this strange auction that I have no clue. Some kind of joke maybe? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...em=260102607529

If I tell you anymore, I risk the life of myself, friends and family.
ewing92 #3 Posted March 30, 2007 Too bad I'm saving up for a Wii, seems like a really good deal though I'm tempted to buy it.....besides the fact that I'll have to drive to China, wait a minute, did i say drive to China, looks like I'll have to find another way. Damn!

lemoncurry #6 Posted March 30, 2007 http://offer.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...em=260102607529 Most of the buyers so far have been NARUed! My only question is why not all of them?
flyers156 #7 Posted March 31, 2007 what is this exactly?
lemoncurry #8 Posted March 31, 2007 Well, now they yanked the auction itself. About time! For the curious: the seller had 1000 items, titled and described as "????????????", for a Buy It Now of the equivalent of 13 cents US. Almost 500 had been purchased, within a two hour period, by hundreds of low feedback bidders (0, or 1 if the feedback had been left from this auction) who were almost all subsequently NARUed. I would have guessed it was just a scam to build up the seller's feedback for future shenanigans, but purenergy's initial post above makes me wonder... purenergy #9 Posted March 31, 2007 (In the email) They asked for information such as my email, postal address, and phone number. Definitely something wrong.
