Rik #1 Posted April 1, 2007 I thought the CV was built cheap!the 2600 jr. ,takes the cake!.While taking my jr apart to clean,i noticed that the "SELECT"and "RESET"switches have a piece of circuit film under neath them that plugs into a black connector on the board. On my mine, the film just slips into the connector on the board, theres no connector on the end of film that goes into board, isnt there supposed to be one,or is it just friction fit?,seems REALLY CHEAP to me,im wondering if someone before me took it off or broke it. toymailman #2 Posted April 1, 2007 I have taken these apart to cleam them as well. The ribbon reattaches to the board and stays because it is a snug fit in there. When the case is resealed up (with the screws) there is nothing that can really jar it loose. Also, when the case is resealed the ribbon seems to get squooshed in there and held in place by this pressure as well.
