Another Tempest 2000 clone (not Tsunami 2010)

Graphically I dont think so. Typhoon is pretty good...however...it 's not as well done in the play area. Some day I mayl do a tempest clone and I will adhere to the ARCADE to the letter like with Gorf. dont expect that for a few decades at this point...

Again...its not an official project by any means...just something i always wanted to try. Again.....it will be a VERY LONG TIME if and when i ever do a Tempest.

Awesome game, played it for over 4 hours straight non-stop. You can make it CTD by playing it good enough that you get tries at the warp stages. I mean to say the damned thing will crash if you try to get to the second warp screen..

It is a wonderful game. I have actually beat all 100 levels. Super OX mode it beyond insane. I am only at level 17 or so!

 

His next installment, GridRunner +++ (no word on official name) should be out very soon. I've seen it in action, it looks great.

Someone told me about this game (Typhoon 2K1) at the Houston Arcade Expo this weekend. Looks like the original website is long gone. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of this?
