homerwannabee #9 Posted April 2, 2007 Congrats on the find. I think there is a lot of evidence that Glib maybe the worst game of all time. Simply do to the fact that every Glib I see is in either mint or near mint condition.
The MilkMan #10 Posted April 2, 2007 Congrats on the find. I think there is a lot of evidence that Glib maybe the worst game of all time. Simply do to the fact that every Glib I see is in either mint or near mint condition. Probably. I tried to play it when I got. I had no idea what was going on. Looked at the instructions here, so I'll have to give it another go. It cleaned up nicely. I think I had about 7-8 qtips worth of dark brown gunk on the inside (slot), and a damp cloth to clean the cart itself. The other games I picked up also suffered the same cleaning. EricDeLee #12 Posted April 3, 2007 I've had a few 9s in the wild... and then I had that Xante cart... all of them in the wild. I know I've had 3 Qubes, 1 Waterworld, the Xante, a Mr. Dos. Castle, a few river Raid 2s, Up and Down, Spy Hunter, and a few others. Those sega games and now this. Congratulations! haahaahha. I don't know what it is. I wasn't really even in the mood to go hunting. I was driving by the store and decided..well, I better stop, just to have a look. Here I go again to go stare a table with a bunch of commons on it. Yeah, I did a double take when I saw the end label.
EricDeLee #24 Posted April 4, 2007 Same thing when I stopped and found the Xante. I did something similar with the first Qubes I found in the wild. I looked at it, the guy had like a $19 tag on it (all of the atari games had $19 on them)... so I went out to my car and traded a copy of GTA for it. He accepted the trade. I then sold it, and went back and got GTA really cheap somewhere else. I did that with a Waterword cart as well. The guy NEVER had anything new for over 3 years. I asked if he had anything new, and he said that he found a few carts and took me in the back to see them. There was Waterworld staring at me. I bought something else with it as well. I think they were $2 each.
