What NES game is this?

I remember seeing it in Game Players way back when, but I can't find the issue, and I can't remember the title. I remember that it was a ninja game, and it had an isometric view (like Zaxxon). Anyone remember this game?

There was also a game like this called ISOLATED WARRIOR. The logo on the package had a cheesy wrinkled-tin foil effect. It had the Zaxxon-style scrolling.

I just checked out a video game screenshot site, neither one of those are it. If it helps, the ninja looked like your typical ninja, black hood and stuff, and you were walking around a regular city. This ring any bells?

The screenshot site doesn't have listings for Black Manta or The Last Ninja, but I'm thinking it's The Last Ninja, the name rings a bell. EdgeEmu isn't working right now, so I can't try the ROM to find out for sure. Anyone know where screenshots of these games are?

moycon, i couldn't tell you the year, but it was one of the last NES games

made within the last 3 years of NES games being made.

 

so look in S/NES NP issures if you really wanted to look for it
