almightytodd #1 Posted April 14, 2007 I've updated my Secret Quest web site with an explanation of the Sonic Door found on Station 2, a link to a web page that lets you download a stand-alone Secret Quest remake game, and a more accurate explanation of hexadecimal notation. I also added some meta data to the header section of the html file, so some of the web search engines might start finding it. Let me know if you're playing this game and find my site helpful. If you're playing the game, and are farther along in it than I am, I would greatly appreciate it if you could share access codes for higher levels. You could convert the code symbols to hex digits using the chart on my web site, and reply to this post, or PM me. Thanks,
supercat #2 Posted April 14, 2007 What is the "EXTRA" item for?
almightytodd #3 Posted April 14, 2007 EXTRA???
supercat #4 Posted April 14, 2007 EXTRA??? On level 2, go up the sonic-door staircase and kill the monster; it will turn into an "EXTRA" token. But what's it for?
almightytodd #5 Posted April 15, 2007 So far as I can tell, it adds an extra 1,000 points to your score. Other than that, I don't see that it does anything. It doesn't seem to affect your oxygen or energy levels

almightytodd #7 Posted April 22, 2007 I've added some partial maps of Station 3 now. I haven't had a chance to play through the entire level yet. I think it's going to be well into summer for me to be getting anywhere near finishing this game. Here's the link again.
+Propane13 #8 Posted April 23, 2007 Good update! Take your time, and don't feel pressured. I'm actually working on some maps for Scrapyard Dog in the Atari 7800 forum, so I sort of can empathize with the difficulty of putting something like this together. I think such mapping projects really make the Atari more alive. Keep up the good work! -John
Atarifever #9 Posted April 23, 2007 FOOOSHHH That is the sound of me burning the complecated maps I've been drawing for myself. Your site is great; please keep up the good work.

I mean, it was out when the 7800 was out, so these guides could be like "The Atarian Magazine" and cover all things Atari from the late 80s.
