Looking for: The Star Raiders Video Touchpad!

Recommended Posts

Hi, everyone:

Just got a great trade on some Atari 2600 stuff recently, and was wondering if anyone out there had a spare "Star Raiders" video touchpad. I would like the overlay intact on the unit, if possible. Let me know if you want something for it, or want cash. Thanks.

Steve :)

I have one, with an overlay. Have a look at my want list (link below) and shoot me a PM if you see something you can trade. The controllers are fairly common, so I wouldn't be hoping for anything exotic in trade.

In the meantime, if you have keyboard controllers, you can use one of those instead.

Skunk, long time no hear!

I went through your list, but I have nothing you desire, alas. Perhaps some cash would tempt you? :-)

Possibility. I'll shoot you a PM later this evening.

Ahh, forgive me for not listing what I have left to trade.

I have a box full of Nintendo Power Magazines, from the NES days to the Gamecube. This is fairly expensive postage demon to send, so I would need something else thrown into the pot to make it more even.

I really don't have much left other than that. I do have an SNES unit with one controller, however the POWER button keeps falling off. It slides, however. I have no way to test this, as I do not have the RF unit and power adapter.

The unit has a slight chip on the front-left hand side. Just FYI for anyone interested.

One of the local Game X Changes has a boxed Star Raiders. I don't think they've sold it. I haven't checked to see if it's complete, but I'd be surprised if it wasn't.

We don't have anything resembling a Game X Changes place around where I live. Hmm, could you check the price on that, just out of curiosity? I wish we had places like that around me!! :x

I have one of these I was just about to toss into the bottomless pit-o-controllers. Your welcome to it for whatever it costs to ship.

Steve:

Let me know what you'd charge to ship to zip 03755.

Good timing, Steve. That one I thought was CIB with Star Raiders was sold. Another one is in stock, for $2 more ($7 total), but it has just the controller, cart, and overlay.

In classicgamingguy's shoes, I'd take Steve's offer. That overlay isn't worth $7. If you need a Star Raiders to go with it, they're plentiful, and I could get one for $1 (the store's price) plus shipping.
