AFAIK not. IIRC the required data rate is too high.

It's a shame Atari didn't do more with the trackball for the 2600.

 

What about which games you think would benefit from such a hack?

 

Nexar, Millipede, Reactor, Crystal Castles, Crossbow, Fast Food, RealSports Tennis are the ones I'd like to see

Reading a trackball (in true trackball mode), like reading a paddle controller, takes a lot of processor time to do well on the 2600. So it isn't very likely that any more hacks such as those games you list above will ever be done.

Actually reading trackball data is even worse than reading paddles.

 

So the chances are even lower than 0.

I would like to think the 2600 trackball i just bought could be used for something.....
