Headfamily #7 Posted April 25, 2007 (edited) Nothing new for that guy. I was thinking I saw that before too. Didn't someone already correct this guy in the other topic and he's still trying the same stuff? What an idiot. kamenes #11 Posted April 26, 2007 (edited) haha yes, it is rather silly to say the three loose Atari carts are in original shrink wrap and never opened. However, I can understand his confusion considering it appears that the original "video village" price stickers are still on each cart. So, it's possible that they were in fact sealed way back when and he assumed that's the way they came. Yeah, I'd say it's unlikely that he would have never seen an Atari 2600 box, but ya never know. Most likely he's knowingly being a bit "creative" (i.e. misleading) with his descriptions. EDIT - nevermind. I now see that he has two boxed "sealed" Atari 2600 titles as well. Hmmm. A.J. Franzman #13 Posted April 28, 2007 (edited) UPDATE - He's seems like a good, responsive seller. I emailed him concerning the issue, he replied with thanks, and changed the auctions right away. Changed what, the titles? The description still calls them sealed (in large colorful text). I suppose, technically, they may be "sealed" but of course most collectors take that to mean "original maker's seal never opened", which is in this case obviously not true to us knowledgeable collectors. But of course there are always suckers, um, I mean, noobs who don't know any better, who will be fooled by this kind of thing. Edited April 28, 2007 by A.J.
